Rear Washer Jet - Is It Rubbish

Hi Everyone.

I have a 2013 SQ5 but the rear washer jet is rubbish.  When I use it, it comes out with very little power and only goes about 3 inches up the rear windscreen.  I guessing the jets aren't blocked as lots of water comes out.  It just doesn't have any power behind it.

Does anyone know if this is the same on all SQ5's or whether mine seems to have a fault?

Hi Steve...welcome to the Forum

I'm not entirely sure as never experienced the washers on a SQ5 but I imagine that if there is a volume of water coming out, then the jet is damaged as it should be restricted to produce a high pressure spray with less flow of water.

Possibly look to replace the jet to sort it?

Replaced my jets yesterday cost £8.10 from Audi. Works a treat now.
