Rear End

Featured Replies

Hi,

Ive got a slight missalignment on my 2010 TTS. Probably a nudge from behind has left the boot lid a little out of line on one side and a bit raised on the join by the door. i would be happy to have a go at this myself if it's not an absolute mission. I'm guessing that a removal of the rear panels/bumper are in order, but under that, is it just brackets that need straightening ? Any ideas gratefully received...

I would imagine it would be easy to see any damaged bracketry and you would only be doing what a bodyshop would do by removing panels, etc.

How you then rectify any damage once you're in there (depending on what you find) is another matter though.

Good luck and please keep us updated (especially with photos)

Cheers,  Trevor

I think this should be corrected without removing anything by an expert in very short time, he would have a press to rectify it if it is as you state only minor.
