Audi A3 2.0 TDI SE Sportback S Tronic

Featured Replies

Hi Audi Drivers

I'm moving up in the world and leaving behind my beloved Seat Leon 130 TDI

I have been looking at getting an Audi A3 2.0 SE Sportback S Tronic (138bhp)

Please, any advice would be amazing as I have not driven the DSG (S Tronic) before and also have the option of the 168bhp model

Thanks

Hi,

I have a few mates with the 140bhp, decent enough car. I opted for the 170bhp (manual) and I've done a stage 2 map which is now pushing 210bhp. Map, exhaust and replacement filter. It destroys a GTI.

The 130 can be taken to about 170 with a remap and filter.

I probably should answer your question. But it's opinion based. Yes, the Audi a3 is a great car! :yahoo:

The DSG of 2005-2008 Audi A3 is the best and VW is still using for the Golf 7 as well. You just have to make its service every 60k km and never worry about it,

If it were me I'd get the 140PS as the 170PS has more engine problems...

Cheers!

Thanks for your comments.

Keep reading reports on how the DSG IN 2007 MODELS are so unreliable, anyone had problems?
