I have just purchased an Audi A7 2012 model. When driving at night the headlights seem to be trying to self adjust but just keep moving up and down. They tend to raise very high meaning I have other drivers flashing me.

Before bringing it into my local Audi dealership and paying £50 for a diagnostic test can anyone suggest the issue?

Sounds like one of the auto adjustment linkages on the suspension has broken or dropped off.

Here is a post by Darren rbdazza for his A4 but i'm sure it would be the same principle for the A7 adaption
