MMI update

Featured Replies

Hi, new to the forum so thanks for having me...I got my first Audi last year, a 56 plate A6 diesel. I'm travelling in France next month and need to update the sat nav - I'm hoping someone can give me some guidance as to what I need to do and where I should go? I've done a google search and there's a number of options from what I can see but prices vary from 30 quid to 250+! I've got the colour screen mmi if that helps

Hi Paul....welcome to the Forum

Most of the posts I have read on this seem to indicate that the MMI is updatable but with the updated card for maps having to be initialised by Audi at huge costs.

If it were me, I would use a TomTom or similar and don't forget, turn off any speed camera identification or your SatNav or the French coppers will throw a 500 Euro fine at you and confiscate the SatNav.  TomTom defaults to switching off this feature when being used in France

Cheers  Trevor
