Hi

Getting ready to get my first car. Learned to drive very late in the day, so this will be my first car and am able to get something nice. Considering the Audi A1 Sportback 1.0 Tfsi SE 5Dr.

I am not after anything particularly powerful and don't really plan on motorway journeys. It will mainly be for city driving.

My question is whether the 1.0 will be ok? will it last the 3-4 years or is the engine size/power just too small?

The next alternative is the 

Audi A1 Sportback 1.4 Tfsi Sport 5Dr. I worry whether this would have too much power for me as a first car?    Any help/suggestions appreciated.

Hi Raihena.....welcome to the Forum

The A1 1.0 TFSi will be absolutely fine for town driving, in fact it will probably be the perfect size engine giving you all the performance you need with great economy and no emissions related faults.
