I am going to buy the new facelifted Audi A3.

Are there fog lights on it like the old A3? Sorry if it’s a stupid question.

There is a chance that the base spec model won't have them, but any model SE upwards should have them I am sure.

I understood that the fog lights are integrated into the main headlight cluster on the facelifted models (bottom outside corner light). Can anyone confirm (or clarify) this?

Yes, the front fog lights are within the main headlight assembly (at least they are on cars with the LED headlights).

WHAT 'Whatty' says is true, my S-Line has them within the headlight unit & the fog lights work very well!.

Just tested mine on the way home. They give a very wide flat beam.

The car looked so much better with the old fog lights.

Yes, I'm not so keen on the largish mass of plastic where the fog lights used to be.

I wonder if there is any aftermarket 'fixes' for it!??.

Yes, it does look like something is missing. When I bought my Tiguan I went for the fog light option. Not because I particularly wanted them, but otherwise all there would have been was black plastic blanking plates.
