Hi all, can someone please suggest where to get a useful (I.e one that can read transmission/abs codes too and measuring blocks) vcds in the uk? Not the cheap ones off eBay. Car in question is an 05 Audi A6. Thank you.

You could try a £20 clone from amazon with will work (finger crossed) lol

Also there is carista or obdeleven but its very limited to reading faults only 

do you have any idea if obdeleven/Carista etc can diagnose brake switch and transmission problems? Can I get a feature like measuring blocks in these ?

Carista and obdeleven will show faults not much else

Which faults will it show? It's not like measuring blocks is it?

 

its an auto multitronic gearbox and keeps getting stuck in park. I want to see the brake pedal switch readings in measuring block so see if it is functioning ok or if it's the f125 switch then hopefully that will give an error code?

Go to a local garage , most of them charge 30£ for pluging in diagnostics
