Vision Posted January 4, 2018 Share Posted January 4, 2018 This past week ive been having trouble with the key fob not releasing ( manual gear box) from the ignition when turning off. I push the fob to stop the engine and wait a few seconds to release the key but it won't , the engine stops but the electrics stay live and key won't come out. This may well be frowned upon, but have you tried a few drops of WD 40 down the key slot to see if it makes any difference? Kind regards, Gareth.
