Numberplate bulb help

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, I’m new here and I’m just looking for some help regarding my numberplate bulbs. One of my bulbs went so in all my wisdom I decided I’d switch to LEDs. I got some from the local car parts shop who told me they were canbus and the fault code would be cleared. I fitted said bulbs and they both work, miracle I know, but there is still a message displaying saying I’ve a numberplate bulb not working. Any input here is greatly appreciated.

Same issue with my 2011 A3..... 🤔 any answers on Thai yet??

Sounds like they are no true canbus , there's not enough resistance to tell the lighting module that there are bulbs installed. You might be better off getting LED modules.
