  1. Hopefully you get sorted.
  2. So I’ve been out and popped the bonnet……there is no dipstick other than the one stood looking at the engine. The consensus seems that the gauge reading is accurate.
  3. Looks the same. I'd definitely recommend comparing it to your current part number. You're doing the right thing Looking from Europe but would recommend you look at Germany instead. Or list your part request on the breaker sites.

Hi David I have just bought a new E-Tron GT and I am "old school" so it is way beyond me. I had an hours tutorial with the Audi salesman and still had to get it touch with the Audi help desk who finished the set up for me. So you are not on your own. Tony

A6 C8 40 TDI MHEV also, 2,500 miles today, about 6 weeks from collection. My Audi app indicated to check oil level about 10 days about likely around 2000 miles, it wasn't at minimum but was low on the gauge, so added 1/2 litre of 0W-30 to spec (see label on radiator cover under the bonnet). Seems that the App gives a warning before the point where you'd reach minimum, so I check that regularly. There was no warning from the car at this point, only in the app.

Not a problem, I just got into my new MY23 avant. Literally checked my oil level before setting off I got the sales guy to get them to top it up. It was literally just above the the low line. So case in point to point 1. I was making! 😂
  9. Not sure if it can be retrofitted but my advice would be to speak to autologics or Audi retrofits as members have used them for retrofits and been happy with the results
  10. I know all about the stealers and their tricks which is why I never take my cars to them but this is absolutely shocking, £20 for the filter and about 5 mins to change, luckily I do all my own work so the car will be looked after properly now and hopefully will last 170k as well. Jordan
  11. How strange Stephen, I’ve always (manually) checked oil levels when cold, and all the circulated oil has had sufficient time to return into the sump. My routine has been before start up after being stationary overnight. I now have this new fangled! no dipstick in a non Audi, and understandably the display will not work until the engine is cold. Why on earth should Audi suggest it check it when warm? - when some oil is still retained in the block and moving parts. Logic suggests that since it is true , then a lower than desired cold reading will be even lower if checked when warm. If this were mine, I would be taking taking the car to another Audi dealer, armed with the photo. Kind regards, Gareth.
