  1. I'd recommend you speak to a local company that can remove locking wheel nuts as they look pretty knackered.

  2. I'd consider the switch. But might be worth checking the runners in case there's anything blocking it.

  3. You’ve probably heard of the saying ‘be careful what you wish for’. Well, I was/am that person. After what can only be described as an extensive search, I may have found one. Like most things in life, you don’t always get to try before you buy, albeit if it doesn’t live up to the manufacture’s claims you can ultimately send it back. I am not totally sure on the law here but I think you get 30 days. So, here we go, I’ve waffled on enough. It’s called the ‘MORFIT’. Wait for it! It’s £129.00 There is a cheaper one though, the standard is a mere £99.00. So guess what, I’ve gone the whole hog and bought the all singing all dancing £129.00 version. Having just fitted it today, I cannot yet recommend it! To be honest I’m not sure that at £129.00 I could ever recommend it. Basically, it’s all about my perspective vs yours. The best I can say is, watch this space and I will give you some feedback. Initially, I would say it is well made and is not an ugly addition to my drivers seat, blends well with my cloth seats. I spent an hour driving around today with no negativity. I’m sure it can be improved upon but first impressions I am happy. As I say, I’ll give you more feedback over the coming days/weeks. Watch this space (if you dare)! Terry

  5. If all else fails you could weld a nut/bar/socket on the locking nut in order to remove it. Of course that will ruin the locking nut and you would need to buy a new one. Protect the wheels from weld spatter if you do try this.

  6. It was a 110 size, so the one in there was correct and not the 096 which several dealers advised. Even Tayna online recommended a 115 which is the same size as what was in there but for stop start vehicles. The guy at Tayna on the phone put me straight and advised another Bosch S4010 which is now installed. This isn't the first time typing in reg has got me the wrong part so I guess it may be a between model, transitional type of thing?

  9. Well, we all want to help a fellow Audi owner, May be we put a bate question out and wait for an answer, Like in this instance, What type brake fluid did you use? If we get no answer then we know that they are just a user and not part of the family. I am on 3 other Audi Forums because information is the key to success. I have learned alot and taught some. I guess some people are just users.

  10. It happens all too often unfortunately. Both common courtesy and the forum rules require some sort of aknowledgement from the questionner to responses he has received. In this case Ma has not even looked at the forum since posting his question.

  11. Hi guys, FYI I've contacted Bolton Interiors and they're the only company in the UK that fits only the glass! What a find and a massive saving, assuming all goes ok. I can't thank you enough for your info and advice, cheers.
