  2. Spartacus, “The one you posted” is 100% the type I’m after. Spoke to them today. As I’m in Northern Ireland so, need to book a flight over to Scotland, then drive the vehicle home all being well. I’ll need to get the ferry home then. Thinking now of what to do, date to go, etc. thanking you kindly of posting that up.

  5. I was checking out my rear brakes yesterday after replacing my A6’s rear spring mount that had the typical corrosions. My cars done 32k and are down to about 4mm , discs are lipped too so maybe their ready for changing Funny enough it was reading your post on Audi sport forum about changing corroded rear spring mounts that made my mind up about doing it myself instead of paying Audi’s £320

  6. Yes, you can order a RS6 without panoramic, but they are going to be relatively rare. Audi introduced packaged trim levels and top of the range Vorsprung edition has all the bells and whistles, and so it should on a £120k+ car. Most people opt for the panoramic as it lightens the interior. On the B8 A4 range, sunroofs used to leak like a sieve. Part was made by Webasto and has an inherent design flaw. Not heard of issues with B9 A4 range or C8 A6. £90k buys you a 24 plate with less than 5k miles in Dundee. https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202409073770112?sort=relevance&searchId=a80236fe-bdda-48b7-9f45-bfedb61a576c&advertising-location=at_cars&make=Audi&model=RS6 Avant&page=1&postcode=AB33 8UA&fromsra

  7. If this were mine I wouldn't chance it. On my daily 2016 ford Kuga the interval was 10 years or 120k but ford has since changed this. Good job I found this out as my cambelt was on the verge of snapping at 85k.

  8. As a follow up, I have replaced the OSF shaft with an Apec, also replaced the NSF outer CV and kept original shaft. The bolts on the output flange on the NSF all sheared off and nearly ruined the car, luckily I wasn't on the motorway, had just moved off on a slightly busy roundabout. Took a day to do

  9. Thanks for that Gareth, I'll have a think, although I did think I could possibly do this as you say with a cut in the middle of the hose from Autodoc and put a tube in the middle of it to extend it. Thanks again for the suggestion.

  11. Hello Charles, Is S. Wales a typo for S.West? - due to your location being Cornwall. Kind regards, Gareth.

  12. Itl need a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. The airbag warning light could just be due to a loose airbag wire under the passenger seat.
