  1. Hi it brings to life the old saying about the thickness of British Rail buffet ham, think you just caught that one about right.

I bought my Sq5 at 10 months old . It came with a 3 year subscription to all Audi services . It was basically assigned to me when I bought it. If you download the ' my Audi ' App . You should see your manual and possibly be able to pay and subscribe to the functions below 👇.
  3. It comes up in their parts search but for some reason they says it isn't suitable. Had the same thing on eBay. I reckon it will work fine. Just need to order it and see. With Audi it's non returnable so will probably get from eBay. Really was just wondering if anyone else here had fitted it.

My brother and my friend have had powerflow custom exhausts fitted and boh been happy with the results. Stainless steel systems and you can choose the exhaust note depending on the back box used. They were reasonably priced too.
  5. Hi Gary The most authoritative source of information is the Gov website. The link is at the bottom of this post. Here are the pertinent details that led to the free of charge replacement of the BSG on my 2020 A6 C8 Avant 50 Tdi Quattro. ————— I sent the details to the Audi dealer. After checking they advised that the job would be covered FOC. The important thing to remember - and I think some dealers don’t know this - is that some ‘recall’ items do not result in the owner being contacted. They only apply if a car presents with a relevant ‘recall’ fault ———— Just further to this I may be in luck as it looks as though the following Audi Recall may affect my car. Message to dealer included the following: Would you mind checking with Audi as it looks as though there is a potential water ingress issue with the Starternator fitted to my age of car. I might be in luck🤞 Best wishes Alex See below: From the Gov.uk Recall website: Recall reference R/2020/265 Recall Type Car Recall Date 2020-10-02 Reason for concern MOISTURE MAY ENTER THE BELT DRIVEN STARTER-ALTERNATOR Reason for recall It is possible that moisture may enter the belt-driven starter-alternator. Remedy The starter-alternator must be replaced on the affected vehicles. How to check if the vehicle is recalled Contact the local AUDI dealership or manufacturer. You will not need to pay for anything involving the recall. How the manufacturer will repair The Recalled vehicles will have the fixing checked and corrected as necessary by and official AUDI service. 6. Had my 21 plate Q7 down tools with the same error as many of you have experienced. Dealing with the garage was as a bit of a pain, nothing was written down and no one wanted to place any blame on the part. However, I picked the car back up today with a new alternator and battery at zero cost to me from Stratford Audi. Now to follow up with Audi UK for recovery costs. Thanks for all the advice on this thread, helped a lot in saving me a significant bill.
  7. Yeah the spring mounts took about 2.5 hours to do both sides, just dropped the shock bottom bolt off and used a set of spring compressor's and a little help from a bottle jack and extension tube pushing off the top shock mount pushing the to push the suspension down wards. I have been looking getting brakes from LLL parts have anyone used them ?
