Just stripped out all the passenger side rear boot panels only to find the “passenger side” location is for the LHD model 🤦🏻‍♂️ so it’s drivers side UK. hope that saves people some time 👍 Part number: Parking Sensor Warning Buzzer Speaker Buzzer 8E0919279

managed to fit it myself but it was a hard job trying to get the window trim back on.

As Steve says - you should be able to obtain a printout via your local Audi dealer, on presentation of evidence of ownership. You have to hope that some service history is recorded on their database, but bear in mind that the car is now 10 years old, so don’t assume anything. I’m surprised you bought this car without sight of any evidence of servicing, irrespective of the seller not being helpful - ? Have you done an on-line MOT history check on it? It might also be worth your while to invest £9.99 on a VCheck print out of the car’s history. It won’t tell you anything about its servicing, but will tell you of ownership changes, mileage discrepancies etc. Please let us know how you get on Daniel.

My Audi A6 2007 has just developed this fault. In the process of ordering a buzzer from eBay ( £6 ish ). I’ll update the forum when I have a go at it. 👍

Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Ha e you spoken to Audi for a digital print out of the service history they hold on the car? As there's no proof of service history of recommend a full service and gearbox oil service asap.

Welcome Jay and sorry to hear of your issue. Dealer or private purchase? Was the new battery coded to the car? Has anyone checked for a parasitic drain after all electrical systems have ‘shut down’ - about 3 minutes after car has been locked? Sounds like the ignition lock is not in the best of health. Hi Christie, Yes, the heater still works perfectly. For the flush emptied the coolant from the radiator at the bottom screw, then changed the coolant tank as i could see it had sediments of silica in it. After this worked on the core matrix. Just make sure you have something to catch more coolant when u undo the pipe going to the heater core, as there will be more coolant from the pipes and make sure you properly put the pipe clamps on to the new matrix, as it is a bit awkward when you're upside down with not much room to play. Then just refill the new coolant, and it self-bleeds.
