Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Looks a lovely car.
  2. After some serious consideration Corsa, Punto, Polo and other boring little shoe boxes my 17 year old daughter decided her first car was going to be a 1999 Audi 80 Cabriolet 1.8 in Java Green. When buying it she knew it would need some love to keep it in good condition and running well. It's been to a local garage and received pads and discs on the front along with a repair to the exhaust. The mechanic noted the car is in great condition but does need some bits and pieces done. I have been finding it difficult to find these parts (listed below) and would like to hear from anyone who might be able to help Interior heater blower Heater resistor Steering stabilizer bracket Any trusted local Audi or classic car specialists in or near Ayrshire recommendations would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks
  3. Hello all, first timer here! As it's a new year, thought it would be a great time to finally pick up a new car. I've been eyeing up Avants for a few years now, mainly RS4's and RS6's but they've always just been a touch out of reach in terms of realistic budgets. As my previous car was coming to the end of its finance term and it had racked up plenty of mileage, seemed like a good opportunity to pick up this 2024 A4 Avant 40 TFSI Black Edition at a very cosy 15k miles. So far, absolutely loving the car. It's not quite the RS4 that I dream of, but it's still lovely to drive and gorgeous to look at. Even better that the Mrs' is in love with it too! Have to ask though, especially from anyone else who has owned a previous gen A4 and/or currently owns one of these, what are the things to watch out for in the long term? Many thanks Yorkie
  4. Thanks, I'll order one in from them.

Can you not find one? A thirty second internet search revealed dozens and dozens of places to buy one at little cost.
  8. Apologies for the gripe, but the forum has recently suffered from a spate of what can be termed ‘Post and Run’ new members, who seem to think it’s perfectly acceptable to post a plea for help, and simply not return to view the help given. In a more diluted form, help is offered, but is very rarely acknowledged even via. a simple press of the Like button, leave alone a posted Thank You. The last part of the gripe is that we frequently have to ask for additional information, and this extra detail often never materialises. Please remember, everyone who posts replies do so without payment, but it certainly does cost them in time - in terms of the Moderators and Admin back up - a lot of time. So a special plea to all on here who post needing help:- please be respectful enough to acknowledge any help given, rather than simply accept it as a no-cost, no time of yours, free advice service. It’s wearing thin folks, so if you want to retain this service, please respect and acknowledge its benefits. Thank you all for reading this, and above all, agreeing to adhere to the respect that is needed to be shown. Kind regards, On behalf of the Moderators. Please note:- This request is to all members, not just new ones. p.s. Please avoid using non specific locations such as U.K., England etc. etc.
