  1. It is not likely; neither is it impossible, but we shall not solve the puzzle by guesswork or by intuition or by witchcraft. It needs somebody with a meter (not the car's display) and some electrical knowledge to test each circuit, as your neighbour started to do.
  2. Piano black will scratch again, even if you replace with a new part. If you’re attempting yourself get anti-marr trim tools and watch YouTube videos for accessing parts. Don’t buy cheap Chinese wrap on Fleabay. Search out wrap that is made by 3M. They produce some of the highest quality wraps including brushed steel which is also susceptible to scratches.

Did you trace ABS sensors via scanning the car? Just wonder, as you said, as soon as you turn the steering wheel the errors come back it’s the steering angle sensor that’s failing.
  4. I know on an earlier post that a member had battery drain via after-market stereo. Back to post. Only way to accurately measure battery is with a cheap multimeter. Don’t use on board MMI connection. You’ll know if car is damp. Drain holes for panoramic are under front door hinges, and at rear, under wheel arch liner. Panoramic can leak, either at cassette drain points (one each corner of sunroof) or the actually cassette itself. Check carpets for any dampness. The battery drain check by your neighbour is 100% right approach. Unfortunately there’s no quick fix, it’s laborious, but it needs to to be systematic and go through all scenarios. Also check the car is not dropping on suspension overnight.

Well, time rolls on. I am loving this car more and more - a pleasure to drive. It's responsive - comfortable, beautiful looking, and for me, and the other oldies to step in and out of, is perfect. The colour green, which is only for this Edition One, has had a few compliments. Nice to know I can enter Dynamic mode and release the full 265bhp - but I have taken it easy until some real miles have been covered. I am beginning to work with the tech safety systems and learning to live with them - a good thing. Typical me - I go all out with new stuff. Purchased - Smart Insurance, wheels, tyres, scratches, and alloys. Three-year cover just over five hundred quid - and have used the same company for twenty years - always been great. Not an advert - just what works for me. Still outstanding the Ghost Immobiliser and Dashcam installation on the 29th, and I will share my experience. Overall - I know we all say it - but this is the best car ever to fit my needs. We go through life, and each decade changes requirements. This car is a great middle ground between a Coupe and a massive SUV. Shame the roads in and around Bucks are the worst ever with HS2 works and the potholes. But if we continue with our usual life, most real driving will continue in Cumbria and Scotland, where roads are proper, and traffic is minimal. Well, that's it, folks I will share my next experience after the kit is fitted on the 29th. martin

Hi, I'm from Spain and a month ago i ordered a Q3 sportback with some extras. I've been told the manufacturing date is set and I expect to have it in Spain by the end of April.

Glad you’re enjoying the car. I can confirm though that the roads north of the wall are goosed too! 😃
