  1. For the power loss/black smoke the first thing to try is to put some decent fuel in (Shell V Power/BP Ultimate diesel etc) and drive it hard for a few days. Try some longer trips and hard acceleration through the rev range to get the car nice and hot. Hopefully this should "clear it out". When does the PND123 show up? Only when starting?
  2. I've heard good things about these guys but looks like this is their last day before the Christmas break: http://www.centralaudivw.co.uk/
  3. If you've been to a specialist and they tell you that it's a common thing with the model for it to be a bit notchy then perhaps that's all it is. If everything else is OK perhaps it's not worth worrying about?
  4. I don't want to sounds negative, but has this car been looked after by the current owner?
  5. Thanks Derek, The power tailgate sound like it could possibly be the electric motor to me? I did read once of someone mentioning something similar (although I didn't see a video) and swapping out a motor sorted it. With the regards to the door, it definitely sounds like there is something lose in there. Would be a case of stripping down the door card and taking a look unfortunately.
  6. Cool video - love the Quattro!
  7. Hi Michael, welcome to AOC What Audi do you drive, and which part of Poland are you from?
  8. Does it improve as the car warms up or not?

What's the plan then are you putting into a garage/dealer?
  10. Derek - perhaps you could post up a short video of these problems so we can hear the noises for ourselves?

Hi Roy - pretty sure it's a common fault I'm afraid. Likely to need a new latch and cable to stop the problem coming back again any time soon.
  12. Hi Jodi, You mention ballast packs so I assume the car has xenon lights? Do you know if they are aftermarket (converted) xenons or if they are factory fit with the headlight washers etc?
  13. No worries glad I could be of assistance! Do let us know how you get on with Cartronix
  14. Hi Alan - welcome to AOC :) Glad you're enjoying your A5 - got any pics? As with any new technology etc it soon gets easier with a bit of use I promise
  15. It's usually an option as far as I know. It would enable you to connect to the web, use Google maps, weather, fuel prices etc. It usually has a sim slot too.
  16. Think it's fairly straight forward if you don't mind giving it a go?
  17. Personally I'd be happy with what you've got. 4300K looks OEM anyway and like you said it seems a shame to risk it if you might end up with something worse just so it's a fraction more white in colour...
  18. These guys do it: http://www.cartronix.co.uk/manufacturers/product/57-audi-lcd-display-pixel-repair-for-tt-a2-a3-a4-a5-a6-a8-q7-speedometer
  19. Interesting that the alternator could cause the ESP light to come on!
  20. Yeah, must say it's one of the better ones I've seen!
  21. Have to say the beam pattern looks pretty good on those? 4300k makes it look almost OEM too.
  22. I'm assuming you've tried all the settings including lumbar? Aside from that I can't see that you have many options other then perhaps looking at those lumbar cushions you can buy?
  23. Quite amazing and shows how good Audi petrol engines can be if you look after them correctly :)
  24. I would imagine so. Did you get any before/after pics of the xenons fitted?
  25. Looks like it may be a problem with your scanner: http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php/66643-U281-Diagnostic-Tool
