  1. Hope you have sorted both cars out now
  2. Are you open to offers and are the wheels still for sale
  3. I just found a stone chip on the bottom of the passenger door .... had to put touch up paint on it, the worst thing about cleaning your car is you notice everything wrong with the bodywork, hope your car comes out the garage good as new
  4. Good morning guys and gals, it looks like a lovely day in my part of the world think its time to wash the motors. Hope everyone is staying well and enjoying your lovely cars
  5. It could be an issue with your mass airflow sensor or maybe something else with your fuel air flow mixture set up
  6. Check your timing belt and make sure its in good condition, and does it shudder when you raise your clutch pedal
  7. Nice car I'd be interested if I hadn't just bought one
  8. Aah didn't even realise there was an events section lol
  9. I didn't realise there was something happening is it a local gathering or a national thing. Betting there will be some really spectacular models and classics to drool over
  10. I know I use my aircon all year round as well as a dehumidifier in the winter
  11. Guys I know this may be sad, but I have just cleaned her and now she is all shiny in the sunshine, I really love how good she looks, I find my self looking at my drive thinking how lovely she looks and feeling good that I am lucky enough to own such an amazing car.
  12. Thanks she is definately a sexy lady
  13. Don't think you will have killed the engine but electrics are another matter... if it was my car I would dry out the fuse box thoroughly and use contact cleaner on the fuses and relays, find how the water is getting in and stop it. Water and electrics are never a good mix
  14. I love my quattro always was a jaguar man but my new love is audi's can genuinely say its the nicest driving car I've ever owned and I've had a lot of high performance cars including xk's and a couple porsches it just hugs the road like its glued to it, ive found everyone on here to be very friendly and helpful too, specially with some of the silly things I ask about
  15. Lovely car I got my first ever audi at 47 a few weeks ago and I'm absolutely loving it too
  16. Thanks guys
  17. One of my keys is in need of a new battery do I simply put a new cr032 in and place key in ignition or is their some complicated reprogramming ritual I need to follow like on my jag, this is my first audi and I'm a bit lost
  18. Haha you will get 1 or 2 days a year that are hot pmsl, its the rain and cold that makes the scenery so amazing
  19. Well yet another day in the sunshine and I'm still loving my audi with aircon, my slk and xk8 are still sulking wanting dad to drive them 😆🤣😂😹😆🤣

  20. The wheel arch spacings will be the same across the a3 range but with a 1.4 engine you'll lose start and low speed acceleration due to the increase in wheel size but wouldn't imagine it would be really significant
  21. Audi fitted 19 s as an optional extra on 2012- 16 a3s details and tyre sizes attached
  22. Hi Gareth have uou tried autodoc I have purchased numerous things for my slk and a couple of bits for my a5
  23. I have pirelli 19s on my a5 and the ride is still comfortable and with the quattro system The wall height on the tyres make the grip feel even more awesome I can live with the occasional pot hole causing me to bounce in the seat compared to the handling and sporty feel I get with the 19s, just make sure you buy decent tyres and not budget if you really want to enjoy the ride
