Audi A4 B9 - only hot air blowing on passenger side
Thank you Sid, I appreciate you. I don't suppose you have the PDF/document you could send me for instructions too where it references the pages? I'll have to get error codes read to see where the problem lies with which component but may be difficult as it's intermittent but rather do the research now. Cheers

Audi A4 B9 - only hot air blowing on passenger side
Thanks, heh so I actually replaced my regulator motor for recirculation flap 4m0820511a this summer as it wasn't blowing any air. Costly those actuator motors 😅. Any idea where this air flap motor is located in the car? I'm presuming it'll need programming by someone who has VCDS too? Also would it be the same part number as the recirculation motor too? The only picture I have under the glovebox from when I replaced the recirculation motor(example 1) was this one but I believe (example 2) is the fresh air motor. I couldn't see any others for the passenger side.

Audi A4 B9 - only hot air blowing on passenger side
Hey guys, I have Audi A4 B9 2017. I have dual climate control on my car and when I say have temperature set to LO, the drivers side gets nice and cold but the passenger side is blowing hot air, regardless if I change the temperature or not. This has happened twice in the past few months now. After turning the car off and leaving it for a while then turning it back on, it seems to work fine again and I get cold air on the passenger side as well but I have a feeling it may get worse. Any ideas what this could be and if it's a easy fix? Cheers

A4 B9 recirculation flap motor issue
The pictures I posted previously in the thread, I got mine from eBay - seller was audisytner. Note you will need VDCS software though to program it like in the YouTube video.

A4 B9 recirculation flap motor issue
Not sure if YouTube link works above but this will help, it's literally under the glovebox behind the pollen filter towards left, like three screws and pull the connector and replace. I did that myself and just got the garage to program it like in the YouTube video.

A4 B9 recirculation flap motor issue
Update: ordered the part £208 and found garage who has VDCS and they programmed the new motor module, just in time for the hot weather! Ice cold AC in all directions 👍🏽

A4 B9 recirculation flap motor issue
I think the same thing has happened on my Audi A4 b9 2017. It looks easy enough to replace but not sure if it's recirculation or fresh air control motor. I need to find someone with VDCS who can do it for me, don't suppose you're near Northampton way by any chance? Do you know the part number?

Clicking noise when full lock
I have same problem on my B9 A4 2017. I hear it more in the winter but seems to ease up a little in the summer. Happens during full lock / turning. Car drives fine through, no issues, drives straight. My garage took a look in Jan this year and said everything looks good with the suspension/joints etc no rips or tears etc. He even greased the engine mounts i think but that didn't seem to help much. Haven't experienced any significant issues driving though. Feels safe. I do have my MOT coming up in November I think so will see what MOT tester says as CV joints is something that is checked.

Quite surprised by the MPG on Audi A4 2.0 TFSI 190bhp auto
I most do town driving so mileage isn't great 25-30mpg on short journeys. I went to London and back and on a round trip and I managed 50mpg + 😲. I was quite shocked when i checked my short journeys on the trip computer when I got home. It was a mixture of motorway and town driving but didn't expect 50+ mpg from a 190bhp 2.0 engine sitting at 65-70mph on the motorway with AC on auto. Thought I'd share some good news for fellow petrol heads of similar engine. 🙂 Anyone else managed to eek out more then 52.3mpg to b exact from their 2.0T TFSI engine 190bhp?

Coolant hose from reservoir to radiator broken HELP
Thought I'd update here, the mechanic has fixed the issue, replaced the quick acting coupling properly, greased the ends, new coolant and bleed too. Didn't have to replace radiator. All sorted no more leak and temp staying at 90c on dash 😊.

Coolant hose from reservoir to radiator broken HELP
Just to confirm, i took some more picture of the clip from the radiator side and this clip can't be undone and replace right, it still has to be the whole radiator?

Coolant hose from reservoir to radiator broken HELP
Ahhh right okay this makes sense. Thanks for taking a picture as well, I see what you mean. Both sides have clips but one is from the radiator which is the one that's broken and can only be replaced by replacing the radiator itself. 👍🏽 At least I can speak to my garage with some knowledge now. Thank you once again buddy. Let's see what they say next week. 👍🏽

Coolant hose from reservoir to radiator broken HELP
What do you mean outlet clip? Thanks, I'll have to get it towed to the garage as it's not fit for driving with no coolant going to radiator! Really don't understand how it could snap like that ugh. Just to confirm it will be the radiator / clip itself not just the clip that has to be replaced? I'm just asking more for me to understand the issue but will be getting it towed to a garage for them to diagnose the issue.

Coolant hose from reservoir to radiator broken HELP
You don't think i could just get the part itself replaced? Managed to find this online Part - 8W0122293DL Quick acting coupling

Coolant hose from reservoir to radiator broken HELP
Hi all, Audi A4 2.0T TFSI B9 2017 facelift - Lost coolant few days ago, topped it up and last night heard my fans going crazy and temps showing 130c. Filled up again and checked engine bay and noticed the leak here. Any thoughts on the parts that may be involved and how to fix it? Is it a wider issue or just the hose needs replacing? Is it safe for me to drive this to a garage 20 min drive/15miles ? I've attached some photos and a video. PXL_20230730_095442289.TS.mp4

Brake Servo restricted…no stop start/ you may continue driving?
Thank goodness I have this thread! I felt the brakes doing the clicky bit when pressed firmly and the brake servo error appeared. I turned car off and back on again and it disappeared. The next few days I was out driving and the error came back on. I parked car up and haven't driven it since. Ordered the part off eBay and just fitted the new sensor now. Error has disappeared. Thank you guys, this was a life saver. Hopefully caught it before ABS went to !Removed!! Audi A4 B9 2.0 TFSI I ordered the sensor off eBay £14.99 Brake Booster Pressure Sensor 5Q0906207 5Q0906207A👍🏽

65685 - Heated seat backrest; front right not working
I took my car down to my mechanic this morning as he was replacing my heated wing mirrors as they had failed and I asked him if he could take a look at my driver side heated seat backrest not heating up and he basically cleaned the connections under the drivers seat and plugged them back in, reset the fault code and now I finally have heated backrest again whoop!!!! So happy haha.

65685 - Heated seat backrest; front right not working
drivers side back rest wasn't heating up this morning but yet bottom part of seat was heated up nicely?! I tested passenger side and the whole seat works fine only the drivers side back rest that isn't working? Any ideas? Mine is a 2017 A4 From Carista App fault code- Central electronics: 65685 - Heated seat backrest; front right - open or short to plus

Real mpg
I think 50mpg for Diesel doing 70mph isn't too bad tbh. I had a 1.4TFSI Seat Leon and that managed 55mpg+ at 60mph on the motorways but sooooooo slow and smaller haha.

Safe To Use Lane Assist With No Multifunction Stalk?
I saw this option on Carista app to enable lane assist but i'm a bit hesitant myself as i also don't have the correct stalk with lane assist button. Not sure if it's worth the risk when i actually would want it off. Not worth the risk imo.

Real mpg
I recently purchased a 2.0TFSI 190bhp Auto A4 and i did a 50 mile trip mixture of town and motorway and managed 47mpg at 60-62mph for comparison. Yet to really do some decent mileage as only owned it for a week but i thought it wasn't too bad for a 2.0 petrol.
