  1. Dont ask, 2007 build, electric gremlins, the nav doesnt work neither does the radiom but by god does it glide and absorb uk roads, I love audi but for comfort Mercedes always wins
  2. Thanks I had a dig in my emails and to be fair to the dealer I asked them if there was electronic adjustment as stated on website but they email back manual only So I accepted it full willing Im 2.5 years in and done 25k miles, love the car the only thing I look forward to on the next one if i hand it in is a massager seat or i may just keep it, its not healthy to be in a seat for more than 2 hours non stop anyway so it faciliates a break. Cars arent planes unfortunately, although my Mercedes with airmatik definitely feels like one over these atrocious uk roads
  3. If your gonna drive it at 70 not even your TDI will give you ideal MPG, I have the 35TDI and commute 300-600 miles a week and I get 70mpg driving at 64-66 no PHEV audi or otherwise will deliver economy booting it at 70, laws of physics wont allow it You can either drive spirited and ignore the MPG or you can drive careful and save your money- cant have it both despite what people say
  4. Fairs, yeh I just dont see the value for a private individual And whenever I see them on a trailer being towed up the m6 or where ever I am its always the hybrid A3's Enjoy and may it bring you many happy miles and smiles
  5. If you dont mind me asking what made you chose the 45? I chose a 35tdi 2 years ago almost through my pcp and tbh I love it. The power and torque is endless, its economical in eco mode i get 70mpg in summer in winter 60 for 33k, I never understood the allure to the hybrid battery model. Especially given reliability issues etc
  6. I empathesise My Audi A3 2020 35TDI S line was mean to come with lumbar and electronic adjustment and because of Covid/ Ukraine/Who knows It came with standard seats Im not gonna lie, Audi seats are not the best especially on an S line spec. Their made for people that enjoy dynamic fast driving Nobody buys and Audi for pure comfort, their performance cars. I have adjusted my seat high up and work it well, I can do 2 hours before getting tired In your case, maybe just add cushions, but there is no simple answer. People buy Mercedes for comfort.
  7. Apologies all if this is something insignificant, but I noticed after popping the engine bay yesterday this cable was looking frayed/loose I never remember seeing it like this and I'm really worried is this something I should be worried about? Many thanks for your help guys Audi A3, 2020. 35TDI
  8. Thanks Gareth, No i havent but I will check I did it get washed not under the hood but just exterior thoroughly the other day wonder if its just soap residue I was worried it was something more sinister Thank you for getting back to me
  9. I had a similar experience and I feel your pain. I enquired about an Audi A3 in Covid configured it myself online, to be fair, my local Audi dealership, Audi Halesowen openly told me stock was limited and apart from new vehicles coming from Germany, nothing was available let alone configurable ( lead time 1 year +) I settled for an Audi A3 35tdi S line spec But I’ve noticed the front two seats have no lumber support or adjustment, which is technically part of the spec, also the cupholders at the front do not have the folding attachment as expected I assume this was because of Covid and Ukraine and sourcing of parts, and to be honest, I was just glad to get the vehicle I wanted, but when I do hand this vehicle, I will remind them and expect a good deal on my next one to be fair to them I do generally think there was some kind of shortage of components because I wanted the dealer to fit an official Audi dash cam and they would’ve made a lot of money from doing it but they did not follow it up. I think they just generally couldn’t get a lot of components although they should be back to normal now You’ve gotta remember you don’t buy an Audi for interior lighting you buy it for the fantastic driving experience to be cliche. It is the ultimate driving experience although another Bavarian manufacturer would contest that Flat bottom steering wheel is nice but it’s not essential. It doesn’t radically change anything neither does lighting
  10. https://www.thewheelshop.co.uk/product-category/space-saver-wheels/audi/ they sell just put your details of model in and make sure you get the right wheel size
  11. 35tdi thank me later I do the same journey albeit lengthier you’ll get 60 mpg minimum on highway and you’ll never see those numbers on a tfsi
  12. Can anyone tell me what on earth this cakey white soot like residue is on the pipe when I popped my bonnet this morning Audi 35tdi 2020 Thanks
