Audi Q6-Etron

There are many things that makes no sense with the Q6, I expect the issue of having speakers in the headrest will be a reason why you can not adjust the head rest.

Think it depend on the seats you have as some you can not adjust were as others you can. What spec have you got? If your front headrests look like the rear ones you can adjust these, if they do not look like the rears then they are fixed.

I have a fully electric Audi Q6. So today I thought I would see how many issues I had again with the car and it came up with a large number, so I cleared the faults, then re-scanned the car and it still showed 65 faults. OK I thought, lets look at the reported faults in more detail and shocked 😮 Carly is a waste of money, the Carly app is set to Q6, 2024, Electric, checked and double checked. So some faults said issue with Petrol Fuel Pump, Issue with Petrol Regulator, Fuel Tank Level Sender Issue and on and on. Your right Carly there is an issue, there is a serious issue with your OBD reader, the car is full Electric and has not Fuel Pump, Regulator, Tank Etc Etc. If it shows this much rubbish what else does it say is rubbish, well a lot, it acts like the car is Petrol and has all Petrol features despite the car being setup as a Q6 Electric, FULL ELECTRIC. FRIENDLY ADVICE, SAVE YOUR MONEY, DO NOT LISTEN TO YOUR TUBERS LIKE MATT ARMSTRONG WHO TRIES TO GET YOU TO BUY ONE, HES GETTING PAID, CARLY IS RUBBISH.

Now they want the dealer to look at the car, the car that was at the dealer in April with issues. Two steps forward one step backwards.

To update everyone, After months of issues and nothing happening I today was told to report all faults to Audi Customer Relations. They were really helpful but like everyone else their hands are tied but the more people who report faults the more chance of issues being resolved. So please all 0800 699 888 and report the faults, the more they get the more pressure it puts on Audi. Should not be paying the large amounts of money we are all paying to have these issues.

Hi All, Interested to hear from other owners if they are having the same faults as we are with the Q6, yes we were one of the first in the country to have the Q6 but our fault list is long and nothing seems to be getting done to resolve them, interested to read if others have the same faults. I cleared 263 error codes, must check again. Our list is below, Unable to Start Vehicle Contact Workshop - This one left my wife stranded as would not do anything said had a major fault and to contact the workshop, closed car, waited a couple of minutes, entered car and issue not there anymore. Driver Aid System - multiple faults and warnings with flashing yellow and red symbols from not working to go to workshop faults, turn off, wait a few seconds, turn on and problem gone. Headlights sometimes do not come on when starting the car - Sidelights and Matrix high beam assist works but the dipped headlights sometimes do not come on and you have a black dark hole of lighting ahead of the side lights and then watch the Matrix high beam assist doing a dance ahead. Tailgate - Double press the remote button twice quickly or slowly makes no difference, boot will sometime open, open a few inches and close, open and stop meaning you have to push the boot shut by hand to get it to open again etc etc. Road Speeds - The camera based system ignores road signs and will put up anything, had it say 30 mph on a motorway, 70 mph on single lanes, when using cruise control it goes wrong as has wrong speeds ands either tries to slow you right down to a dangerous speed or speed you up to break the speed limit. Entertainment System - Sometimes works sometimes does not work, sometimes connects to the phone other times says no phone, no music and then music comes on at full volume. In Car Electronics - Forgets driver profiles, seat position, anything related to each setup on each persons name. Audi App - Sometimes connects to the car other times does not and shows error codes, does not send any notifications despite being setup correctly, reported over 6 months ago and just get the same e-mail once a week that they are trying to resolve the issues, app is upto date, removed installed makes no difference. Emergency Braking - car will do a random emergency brake at random times, pulling away from roundabouts when no one else is around, reversing into our driveway when your no where near anything. I am sure we are missing something but what are others finding?

Personally I find the Waze app looks a little like a cartoon and would prefer a google map look.

So I used my Carla OBD port reader today on my sons A1 and thought I would look to see what was on offer for the Q6. Well there is no coding available at the moments but I then thought I would try the Diagnostics to see how many errors I got. My sons 5 year old A1 got 14 errors, most were nothing and one or two were old ones so a quick clear and look back in a few days and see if any more come up to re-look. So I thought I would look at my 6 month old Q6 and WOW. It said 263 errors reported, yes you read this right 263 errors. Now I know we have had a lot of issues with our Q6 and it has been to the dealers and been looked at and had an update so I would have assumed the dealer cleared any faults, maybe not. So I have cleared the 263 faults and need to look back in 2-3 days. I wonder if anyone else has an OBD reader and can do a scan of their car.

You get this, Lighting LED headlights plus including digital daytime running lights, dynamic coming and leaving home function, turning light, all-weather light, motorway light, manoeuvring light and intersection light High beam assist LED rear lights pro, including dynamic rear indicators and illuminated light strip with animated coming and leaving home function Headlight cleaning system I have mine and never seen anywhere in the app where you can change LED lighting to Matrix, I would be surprised in you could just turn them on with the app. I would expect the lighting unit to be different along with other equipment.

Did you mean to say 22 plate as the Q6 E-Tron came out in 2024?

I have an open ticket with them thats been going on for months and all I get is this reply every Thursday. This has been going on for 2-3 months. Well following day and it's back not working, what a pile of Crap the app is. Audi should be selling cars with a warning that the app may or may not work rather then promoting the app as advantage to owning the car.

App is now back but only part of the app is currently working. 😡

Had a reply from Audi Digital with the issues. Unfortunately, we cannot currently provide an estimated resolution timeline, while the Technical Department is investigating, as each issue is different therefore it takes a different amount of time to be resolved. myAudi app will work sometime in 2025 🤣

Mine not working still, was not aware of a pc version

Been over a week now and no app, spoke to Audi and they have no clue. It is like the app side is being offered with very little tech support.

App down again and has been for the last three days. Audi are so bad with this app.

It's on and off.

Spoke to Audi Digital Support about the issues and they claim the app should be sending notifications of doors open and alarm triggers which it is not. Went through and check everything, I am on the recent updated version. Have had to send an image with screen shots so they can look into the issue. Were unsure if it is the app at fault or the car.

Must say the Audi phone support is as bad as their app. Been on hold listening t the music and the woman saying thank you for holding for over an hour. Must only be one person working.
