Yes same message, back up and running this morning so is the issue with the Audi services or the car?

Can I ask, is anyone else having issues with the Audi App not connecting to the car. I really use the app for things like, Warming car car before getting in. Getting Notifications if one of the kids has not shut the door correctly or boot left open. Now the app works at best half the time, says it can not connect to the car but when I get in the car and start the car it connects straight away. Also getting a notification of any door etc being left open appears to not be a feature either, come on Audi this really is not the 1960's, Kia has been doing this for years, are you saying the Korean manufactures are better then you? I called the dealer and they claim no one else has this issue with any other Audi model. So I wonder, is this issue because we have the new designed Q6 or does others with other models of Audi have the same issue. Starting to become a pain not having access to the car for those simple things. Sorry all, rant over. 😠

Yes and mine is booked in for the 6th of January as I have no time before this date but it's available for the Q6

So the important things like door left open, car not locked etc does not get sent. So what does the app send when it works? My previous Kia EV6 did all this and more, told you 10 minutes before fully charger, when fully charged, car not locked, door left open or alarm sounding. Would appear despite all the publicity of how good Audi MMI system is, it is not really as Kia appear to do things better.

Thank you but thats the old system which i have seen. The Q6 is not using that app. There is no menu icon and when you go to settings there is no Notifications.

As mentioned I did not change drive mode settings. Sound changed after starting car.

Does anyone know if you can set the Audi app to send you a notification if the car alarm goes off or something like car is fully charged. As it stands I get no notifications or sound notifications on the Q6 app. Anyone able to advise.

Hi All, I know where to adjust the sound level but anyone know where you can choose a different artificial sound. Had a strange thing today where the car sounded like a V8 roar sound, did not change anything. Then get in car and the sound is back to a different sound. Was not aware you can change this let alone the car do this on it's own. Did not change drive modes or anything.

Not going to get into a he said she said situation but close to us they have changed. Some 40 now 30 some 30 now 20. Audi MMI shows wrong speeds.

🙄 Or why do they offer cars that go above 70 mph in the UK. Its not the speed issue it is more a road where you have not travelled and the speed limit says 40mph on the sat nav but the road is only 30mph and has changed. The old way of telling has changed with recent changes to how roads speed limits are determined.

No worries at all, would be good to be able to get them added, seen on the previous MMI you could but not seen on the latest version of the MMI which is annoying. Can not get Google to do it either.

Are speed camera detectors legal? Camera detectors are legal for use on UK roads. A few years ago there was talk that detectors with radar and laser detection may become illegal under proposed legislation, but this ban didn't take place - meaning that both laser/radar detectors and GPS safety cameras are still legal in the UK.

OK, thank you. My wife's Kia EV6 has it as standard. What about adding it to google maps?

Anyone know how to turn on speed camera alerts on the navigation of the Audi MMI?

You can not connect the UTR to the LTE router and view the UTR when the car is off. I already have the UTR connected to the LTE router. All this allows is for you to use the same WiFi connection as you do with the MMI, it means you do not have to switch to the UTR WiFi to connect and then switch back to another connection for the MMI. Connection to the LTE of the car does not allow access to the UTR which is disappointing, going to try a sim card setup separate to the car to see if you can access the sim card WiFi and then the UTR to see if this works.
