Audi Q6-Etron

I agree, strange why Audi would setup there cameras to be unusable unless your in the car. Still nothing surprises me anymore.

I tried but they were unsure which was not much help. They just said read the manual but the manual is not great.

Thank you for your reply. A lot of good then if the car is stolen and you want to recover images and video. Especially when all the other manufactures cameras have this option and the Audi has a data plan that could easily again be used.

Hi All, Can I ask, is it possible to view your UTR camera setup when your not in the car. I can only view the cameras when in the car with the car switched on. I have the Audi data plan and even when paired to this I still can not view the cameras with the car switched off. Any advise would be appreciated.

I have the UTR connected to the car, just you can not access the cameras with the UTR app as it says can not connect to cameras and the cars WiFi does not appear in my phones WiFi list with the car switched off. But I do not think you connect the UTR to the cars data plan.

It is linked to the car but how do you setup to an LTS Route to load to the cloud, sorry the Audi booklet and dealer are not helping much. Any help would be appreciated.

Which is not much help if the car is stolen as the footage you could use is not obtainable outside the car. I had a Blackvue and could view this anywhere. What is the point to having remote access to the car if you can not view the UTR camera's. I have an Audi 3gb data plan, I should be able to link the UTR to the car and view the camera's like i can with the rest of the car. Crazy setup.

Can you access your UTR's when your not in the car with your phone or is it only when your in the car with the ignition switched on?

Thats what i was thinking, I have already got a Carly but do not think they do anything as yet for the Q6

Hi All, Do you know if you can turn on alarm lock and unlock beep or if this can be coded? I know the Q6 is new.

Looked and could not find the answer. On the Audi UTR, can you access the cameras without the need of being in the car and having the car switched on as it seems the only time I can view anything is when I am sitting in the car with the car on. I do have the Audi App and Smartphone 3GB of Data package on the car. Can access the MyAudi app without issue juts not the UTR. Any advice appreciated.

Hi all, thought I would join the forum. I have an Audi Q6. See there is no Audi Q6 section so hopefully this can be added.

Just picked up the brand new Q6 Etron first edition and it has the same issues and others, Does not save radios. Keeps asking you to accept privacy statement to use Audi Connect. Front and Rear UTR cameras will not connect to app. So Audi's brand new designed from ground up Q6 has issues with the MMI and this car is 4 days old. So you are not alone with the A3 or S3 range. Problem has not gone by October 2024.
