Smoke/fumes from under passenger door?
I've 2010 3.0, today I moved my Q7 from the roadside to my drive and turned it off. Mrs used it for a 3 mile trip earlier but was cold when I moved it. After turning it off, I could smell exhaust gasses and noticed smoke/exhaust type gas coming from under the front passenger door from what looks like a vent. Never noticed this before. Should I be worried??

2007/2010
Biggest changes are you can get stop/start technology, 8 speed gearbox and cheaper road tax on late 2010 plate cars. Also, face lifted LED lights make the car look much fresher.

Audi Q7 3.0tdi Smoking After DPF Removal
No offense, but any tuner worth their salt would have rectified the problems before commencing work on removing the DPF.

Q7 brake opinons.
They will bring much needed confidence, and being a trader it's a no brainerfor me not to put some performance bits on (practice what you preach and all that). Gone with Black Diamond 12 groove, little bit of flutter under braking but won't even notice it with road noise etc.

Q7 brake opinons.
What do you think of the standard Audi & Brembo brake set up? I personally find them pretty underwhelming, causing a few scary moments and indicators flashing. mine has new discs and pads on the front about 6k ago when I bought it however it will need the rears changing soon. Looking to upgrade to drilled & grooved with fast road pads to hopefully slow a little quicker and offer more confidence.

New user saying hello
Hi James, finding the Q7 great. Having been a BMW guy it was a tough decision when looking for the family transport but best decision after months or looking at Rangies, X5s etc.
