  1. Just Google Audi independents near me . That engine isn't specific to the q7
  2. Should it be ? Pretty sure post 2015 all TDI use ad blue.
  3. Possibly won't even be a tube .
  4. BMS reset , adapting , coding , all the same thing tbh. If you charged it to 100% and reset the BMS , it should now see a new battery and charge accordingly.
  5. No. But it can't be too difficult.
  6. Positive to battery , negative before the BMS sensor . If you've jump start pegs use those . If you charge directly to the battery ,the BMS does not recognise the charge and carries on as before . BMS is reset using an OBD2 scanner.
  7. Then you'll need to reset the BMS .
  8. Are you charging it off the car or on the car ?
  9. Another eBay set .
  10. Brakes international Rochdale do 2 types . Bremtech , which I think they make themselves, and these pictured.
  11. Try using the brembo online catalogue, my Sq5 is a 2024 and not yet on there by number plate , but yours should be. Found these on eBay but unsure of quality . I did notice using autodoc it states the Sq5 as 375mm so is your 380mm a true measurement of a disc off the car ??
  12. Should be easy to find up on a ramp . Follow the sound ... Going off when the engine is off says to me more electrical bias , than mechanical ... Like a pump or relay possibly... Does it still make the noise with only the ignition on ?
  13. I do wonder what else this fella will contend with after shelling out over 50 grand . Id be banging at the Audi dealers doors .
  14. Seeing as oil expands when hot , id expect to see it at temperature tbh. I see alot of this fault on the mercedes forums . It's not just Audi ..
  15. So your prepared to just live it from a 2025 motor ?? Instead of using the Audi warranty and book it in. ?
  16. A 2025 will have a 3 years Audi warranty.
  17. Aircon pressure sensor can cause fan run on. A broken earth wire can also cause it. Just to add to the obvious... 👍
  18. Lane assist is the first thing I turn off on every trip. End of the indicator stalk there's a button to press . I hate it . Alot !!
  19. It's called charge cycling . The system tries it's best to always keep the electronics in tip top shape . You've got all the safety features ,like Audi sense , the srs system , abs, esp . The list goes on and on. My car is also mhev , so it's alot of electrics I dare say even Audi techs need help with . If you just swap a battery over and don't inform the cars brain , it'll be a massive shock to all the systems . Welcome to the new world. Say goodbye to points and condensers. Embrace technology. 😁😄😁
  20. Check any connections are unplugged , radiator etc.
  21. My wife's ford Kuga could be reset using the buttons on the dash 65 reg . Just buy a used OBD2 scanner or a cheap new one , to do it. It's always there for EML fault codes etc. the autel 200 is only 40 quid .
  22. Oh. I thought audis maybe came with android auto as standard , cable not wireless . ?? Not had my Audi long ,so forgive my ignorance. 😁
  23. Would it not be easier to use an android phone instead ??
  24. A dying battery sees a higher charge than a new one . If the BMS isn't reset ,the car will still charge the new one at the same rate . Thus shortening it's life. Loads of OBD2 scanners out there than can reset the BMS . Icarsoft, Topdon , autel . To name a few. A donor power source until the change over is complete, would be beneficial.
