  1. My Sq5 states 2 years and every 2 years thereafter. Was quoted around £90 yesterday, during my first service and inspection. Are you saying it'll void my last year of warranty if I don't agree to it being changed. ?
  2. I'm into year 2 with my hybrid diesel sq5 , it's been faultless so far . My trips to work are 6 miles, I do a few longer trips out 30 miles say , and the occasional 100 mile plus journey. Now the weather has warmed up a bit , the ' gliding ' from battery is becoming more and more . Can't fault it tbh.
  3. Is this plug in or self charging. ?

Shed loads on eBay also . Depends on what you want to spend . I keep looking at the whip mats website and going for the full monty , but I never press the pay button. 🤣🤣
  5. Any news Tom. I've contacted Brembo about mine as the website was showing my sq5 as an Audi A5 . They've rectified it now and shows mine as 375 mm . I've found an eBay full set for around £330.
  6. 19's on a 55 sidewall would be the best option I'd think. My Sq5 is on 20's and suspension set to comfort . Normal shocks n springs. Coming from Mercedes that possibly has the worst suspension ever across all models in sports guise ,I find the sq5 to be very comfortable tbh. Run flats also spoil comfort levels over bumps etc.

Treat my Sq5 to a Nomad boot liner , there is a premium version for £40 . But this is a great fit and good quality for the price. More plastic than rubber tbh . No smell.
  8. I remember those sparks on the HT leads very well. 👍 Along with easy start .
  9. Does driving at 70 mph make the coolant temperature drop , or does it hold steady ? At 90 degrees I believe..
  10. I've got a 2024 sq5 diesel. Normal springs and shocks , not Air . Set on comfort I find the suspension more than adequate for a sports suv on 20 inch rims . Yes it's hard on dynamic , but it's meant to be , to keep it planted . Average 34 mpg combined , 44 mpg on long runs . For me the Q3 is too small and I'd probably get it down to 15 mpg .
  11. Or fit the right sized tyres to keep things correct. 👍.
  12. Shouldn't be an issue as long as the rolling radius matches what came off , usually within 4% .
  13. The usb c on my 24 reg sq5 is for charging only , the proper usb stick connector is for Audio/ media. Yes it plays MP3 files.
  14. I'd start by charging the battery via the jump start poles . Or battery + and body for - . Chances are it's been on sale for a few months and not driven.
  15. Didn't you notice the noise and comfort levels before purchase ??
  16. Please come back with a tyre report . I'll be due 4 next year ..
  17. Seen my error . Should read 55% of 235 against 45 % of 255 . Equates to 0.6 of an inch difference in sidewall height.
  18. Have you considered a tuning box , so you can have some output adjustments and not simply all or nothing from a remap . Some are even controlled via your phone nowadays .. just a thought . Btw if your clutch is the original it'll soon be killed off by the extra torque . Also spare a thought for the brakes and think about how your stopping ..
  19. Same set up as mine , I run at the correct pressures of 39 psi cold . I run mainly in individual mode , with suspension set to comfort . Normal springs not air suspension. I've not had a SUV yet that ran as quiet as say a coupe or saloon. It's also permanent 4wd . Sound advice above about anything with sports suspension, all my Mercedes cars Inc a GLC 350 had it and all were not as comfortable as the wife's Ford Kuga. I think a Sq5 on 19's wouldn't offer anymore sidewall to make a noticeable difference tbh. 45 % of 235 v's 55 % of 255 . As for tyre noise , tyre noise is measured from the outside of a moving vehicle not measured from the inside . I've over the years found Avon and Falken to be fairly quiet . As for the suspension, mine is very harsh in dynamic as you'd expect , but comfort I find to be very much ok for a sports suv. I turn up the choons to cancel out road n tyre noise.
  20. I'm happy for you . You do an amazing job keeping this forum organised. Enjoy Xmas 🎁.
  21. Yet the Audi technician blamed it on using polish of some kind on the covers . Headquarters also stated to use a wet cloth and nothing more to clean the covers. If it's the actual LEDs causing it they obviously took a side step to avoid a warranty claim of sorts .. I wonder if TFR is a factor in this ?? Obviously driving at night constantly, will accelerate this condition.
  22. The cars 6 years old , open to elements in that time . Maybe look at same type and years on autotrader to compare .
  23. He clearly states polish has been applied to the outside of the headlight and also says the dusting is on the inside . He needs to make up his mind tbh. It's impossible to polish the inside of the lens. My guess is the cracking is right through the plastic lens.
  24. The Audi tech says to clean or polish up with a damp cloth , he also said the damage to the plastic lens has been caused by someone or yourself using an actual polish on the lenses . You could try a headlight restorer like turtlewax etc to remove the issue . Looks to me like some kind of petroleum based wax used for bodywork has been used on the plastic lenses , similar damage to what vaseline does to rubber.
