Ok. My fan doesn't fade out at all when on demist . It might dwell slightly for maybe 10 seconds untill it sorts out the flaps , then it's blowing a gale tbh. I remember seeing the dashes on the display and it's around 6 , possibly 7.

Can I ask , does it blow powerful via the face vents, when set purely in that direction ? Things to possibly check. It's not set to auto or recirculating air . I'll count my dashes later this morning. 2024 sq5.

Icarsoft and topdon scanners, plus others do BMS resets . Be cheaper to buy one along with a battery and DIY .

Jack the wheels up diagonally then. Then do the other 2 . It shouldn't move.

You'd definitely be involving the diffs and transfer boxes. It's nigh on impossible to rotate a wheel by hand to any great effect. Would it be possible to lift a complete axle off the ground and run the car in gear ,just on tick over ??

The correct term is " resetting the BMS, ". Battery monitoring system " . It's not exactly coded in like a Led headlight would be for instance. In all my years dead AGM batteries won't recharge, infact if the charge levels drop too low ,it ruins an AGM battery . Also a battery that died in cold weather ,but was ok in warm weather was considered to be kaput!! Some cars, also keep track of the charging profile, and increase the voltage as the battery ages. On BMW/Audi, if you do not register the battery, they will overcharge and kill the new battery in a short time , if the BMS isn't reset. Maybe try Halfords if Audi prices are too high. They also offer a battery check.

Try charging it using a smart charger , before doing anything.

Likely a brake pad warning sensor at fault . Service light is possibly the oil n filter service is due ... Or whoever did it last ,didn't reset it.

Black circles always worth a look for deals, also national tyres do an interest payment plan , handy when all 4 come in at around a grand for my Sq5.

Look at tyre tests results on google , but usually it's Michelin's, pirelli etc etc.

These sell a set of 4 For under £30. I bought a set for my mercedes GLC . Fitted a treat tbh.

My manual is online . Wonder if your mmi is still tagged to the previous keeper and needs updating .

Same process , the key being in the car , doesn't have to be in a key hole. Put the ignition on. When you get the warning message , press lock and unlock a few times. Wife's ford Kuga was the same method. Make sure battery is the correct size and orientation and also good .

Have a look on eBay for a Bosch battery . Same factory as Varta .

Some require you to press lock or unlock with the ignition on or engine running.The new battery should register.

I can ask for an update link, sent to my email . I did download it , but I need a 64 gig memory stick to do the update , but I'm also thinking will it brick the system , so I'm just leaving well alone. Another thing to consider, can the op jump from 2013 to 2025 , if it's indeed on a 2013 version. I know on some manufacturers ,it would need doing in 4 year cycle versions . Like 13 to 2017 , 17 to 2021 , 21 to 2025.

I have mine set to auto , and I can physically see the black boxes going onto cars Infront and cars approaching . I just think it's the whiteness that's the issue, that and cars with led lights that aren't automatic and owners are too slow to turn them off. I'm speaking about high beams and not normal main beams btw.

Best have a search for a local locksmith. I've had mercedes keys coded for £150 . Pretty sure a 2014 Audi key will be simple enough to clone.

Autel ap200 or topdon . Jap import could give issues though. Best ask the companies if ok via the VIN ..
