  2. I have now received a response from.the organisers who are happy for us to attend the show. Also we are allowed to have a BBQ as long as we keep.it off the floor and dispose of it properly (as we would anyway).

When you buy tickets you should be able to select the club from the menu.

    Cheers

It was a great day in a fabulous location with some awesome cars and especially lovely to see all you guys again....shame it was so cold

Thanks for all the hard work you have put into organising the events Steve and it's great to look over all the photos that have been taken...always seem to see something that you didn't originally spot on the day.

    Cheers,  Trevor

Thank you Trevor :) the organisation of the events pays off when you see the club display and get to meet up with members again :)

I have to agree, there is always something that we've missed

food is a way to a mans heart so may get more members turn out if a bbq is on the go lol

Very good point! Did you ask them if we can have a club display?

Also I think they may say no as the show is set inside a country park but it's definitely worth a shot!

Nice one, but I hadn't even asked them about a club stand yet lol 😂 but can't see them turning us down! :)

At least there's the 2 of us so far! :)

  8. Sunday 29th April marked the very first simply Audi show which was held at the prestigious Beaulieu Motor Museum. Despite the forecast of rain and the very cold and windy conditions, there was a great turn out of clubs and Audi owners.

We all met at the Dibden inclosure before heading to Beaulieu at 9am, avoiding wild horses and donkeys which can be found in the local area. On arrival we set up our club display and had an impressive 9 cars on display. We then watched the parade of Audi's coming into the show which included a slight bump between a new rs6 and the Audi that ran into the back of it! Thankfully no damage was done. As well as chin wagging amongst ourselves.

Afterwards we all went off to either get hot food and drink or to look around the fantastic museum. On coming out of the museum at approx 12:00 noon we we're surprised to see that some cars had already left but deduced this was because of the cold weather and by 3pm most cars and clubs had headed home.

Overall the show was brilliant and we'll organised and a good time enjoyed by all. This was made even more special, being the first time show had taken place and one I hope happens next year.

Finally I want to say a big thank you to all our members who attended and displayed their cars with the club as without our members the club wouldn't be as good as it is :)

Thanks for reading and hope you enjoy the pictures :)

  9. Thought I'd provide an update on this thread:

For attending simply Audi at Beaulieu I filled up my a6 with a full tank of shell v power and also added Redex.

I have covered 350 miles since filling up with both and confirm I have had a slight improvement with the engine in terms of smooth running which I feel is a result.

    Cheers

    Steve
