'Exclusive' ended in UK?
I bet it does! But I can understand why they can give you an exact time frame as it's all down to how many cars they can manufacture and how quickly.

Magnet's Motoring Question of the week.
Now the Automobile Association started out as a type of club if I'm correct. And at the time 20s-30s they did road rallies to test a cars endurance and reliability. The RAC did this too. I do hope I'm correct :) Abit random but here's a pic of me with an old AA box in Norfolk :)

FUEL EFFICIENCY ON A 64 PLATE Q5 2.0 TFSI S LINE PLUS
Hi Nizam, The old rule of thumb was what ever the manufacturer implied take atleast 10mpg off it. I'd suspect that around town youd be getting g low 30s and obviously a mixture of driving this may go up to mid 40s at a guess. Cheers Steve

Management light
You're welcome :) Hmm, well if it's the EGR/ EGR cooler than this could be expensive to fix. When I worked at volkswagen in the service department it would cost over £1k to fix sorry to say. Here's the link to the Audi website to help with regard to the emissions recall: https://www.audi.co.uk/owners-area/emissions/check-your-car.html Cheers Steve

Audi TT
Welcome to the forum, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I'm assuming you're looking at getting a mk1 TT? As you are considering a auto it'll be a DSG auto. It's worth checking to see when the gearbox oil was changed and that the gears change smoothly both in manual and auto modes. With regard to quattro, it's a great system but can be sensitive and can be damaged by things such as uneven Tyre wear or mis-matched tyres on the same axle. So it's important to check that it's working. The major recall on the early mk1 TT was the instrument cluster which would fail and I suspect it should have been carried out on any TT you are looking at. Naturally it is very important that the cluster is working as replacements can cost up to £2k. Here's a YouTube video which may help: Cheers Steve

Black honeycomb grill
Hi Alan, are you looking for a debadge grill or normal grill? Also for the heads up, I believe l the RS grills don't fit. Cheers Steve

Automatic Headlight control issues
Welcome to the forum Andy, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) My first port of call would be to get the battery checked to see how healthy it is (halfords can offer this service). I suggest this because once a battery starts to fail it can throw up various electrical issues. The normal life span of a battery is 5-7 years so you could be due a new one if you haven't had one already. In failing that it would be worth getting a diagnostic check carried out to see what fault codes flag up. Hope I've helped. Cheers Steve

Autonomous flying Audi
Audi have released pictures of what they believe to be the future of transportation. It starts out as an autonomous car which has a drink on.the roof which has the capability to lift the passenger compartment! Naturally this technology is many years away of becoming a reality but it is interesting to see how the auto manufacturers are trying to help relieve the traffic congestion problems. What do you think? Here's the link: https://www.topgear.com/car-news/future-tech/heres-your-autonomous-flying-audi-future Pictures taken from.the Topgear article.

Heavy clutch
Hi Alex, I would suspect at 140k your clutch is on it's way out and I believe it is the clutch and flywheel that need to be replaced together. My best advice would be to ring around local garages to get quotes. This especially if you are considering taking your a4 to Audi. You may find they may have offers on.for changing the clutch as they do with the cambelt and water pump in some cases. Cheers Steve

Scrubbing noise
Hmm, ok. Well.if it's not the handling or tyres then I wonder what it is. Does the noise happen at specific speeds, road conditions etc?

Management light
Welcome to the forum Edward, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Well the light could be to do with DPF. Did you take it for a good motorway run once you.heaed it could be the DPF. Also do you know if you have had the emissions recall carried out, and if so when? My other advice would be to get a diagnostic check carried out to see what fault codes flag up. Cheers Steve
