Oops apologies Tom! The orange is rare too, like the blue. Iv never seen an Audi in that colour to be honest!
I think the skyline is a classic and they are skyrocketing in value!
glad your devoted Audi fans!
By the way your more than welcome to display your Audis with us at up and coming events :)
i think we are going to try and get a stand at Audi Driver International show at castle Combe. I have a thread already in the events section. Il put your name down :)
if I get enough interest il try and get a club stand together :)
cheers

The blue is a rare but great colour! No wonder your other half was sold on it!
Nice spec on the gtt :) it's got a nice amount of power but as you say, there's always room for more! ;)
the difficult question is:
which one is your favourite!?
Cheers

Your welcome! :)
you can tell it's low mileage by the superb condition it's in! :)

Wow!
Lovely cars you have there! You certainly know how to pick the great colours for the Audis! :)
as for the skyline, that's gorgeous! What model of r34 is it?

Hi Sue,
i have a a6 c5 and can confirm this is NOT normal! My family have owned our c5 from new and have never had this issue in all 15 years of ownership! Not even slight misting!
Sorry to hear that the horrendous service is still continuing!

Your most welcome :)
a remap is always good, depending on the condition of the car obviously. The remap will probably get rid of the ea189 emissions update.
The pics need to be a set size. What I do is save pics from my Facebook and upload them on here. I find it's the easiest way of the pics automatically resizing :)

Your welcome :)
As I say if it's a vat registered garage you'll be ok, oh and I believe they have to use genuine Audi parts.
So glad you got the probs sorted under warranty :) just bare in mind that the bill they show you will be at a reduced labour rate to what they would have charged you if it were out of warranty!
Mum no IT expert either but what I do is copy pics from my Facebook page as this reduces the picture size enough :) otherwise you can use a picture resized took/software. But I'm not too clued up with such things unfortunately.
Eluld love to see the pics of your Audi and skyline when you do get a chance :)
oh and by the way your more than welcome to display your Audi with the club at the upcoming shows we are attending :)

I have seen these fitted to a3s. Normally people fit them near to the blanking plates on the centre console on the dash. Normally above the radio if that makes sense.
Im unsure if you have to update the software but I believe you plug it in the back of the radio.

Welcome to the forum Peter :)
depending on your radio you probably can get it activated on the computer or get a plug in, into the back of the radio.
Or finally you can get a Bluetooth kit. You'll probs be looking around £150-£300 approx. From companies such as parrot.
I have found Audi don't put as much kit in as standard as they base there vehicle price on quality instead of gadgets if that makes sense?
Hence why seats and slides will Have it.
Hope iv helped

Welcome Home Steve.....thanks for the excellent write up of your road trip, thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
I always believe that liking cars is all well and good but it's also about driving them and not enough is written about road trips so always happy to read them.
Glad everything went okay with the car and it all panned out okay....now to plan the next one :-)
Thanks Trevor :)
glad you enjoyed reading it and glad it wasn't boring :)
couldnt agree more! Cars are meant to be driven!
And I just hope I have inspired other to take road trips. Especially those who have older Audis. As iv proven it can be done in older, high mileage cars :)
Thanks :) the car is sweet as a nut! And my brother and I are planing the next one already to Germany! No exact dates sorted though due to other planned holidays and cruises :)
il keep you posted :)
cheers

There's nothing stopping you from taking it to an Audi independent specialist now. As long as it's a vat registered garage your warranty won't be affected :)

Welcome to the forum Tom :)
thats obscene! When I worked at Volkswagen a minor service (oil change, oil filter etc) for £169.
I would say the reason why it's expensive is because it's an rs model.

Welcome to the forum Salman :)

Dans right, you do need to be careful with what wheels/tyres you fit as you can damage the Quattro system. This even includes keeping the tyre wear even too.
