Alan Mac Posted May 10 Posted May 10 My MMI screen is blank, I have had the fuses checked and the cable is delivering power, so it would appear I need to replace the screen, I have found the part number (4G2.919.601.T or J or Q??) but these parts seem to be for the regular A6. Does anybody know if the screen from a regular A6 is compatable with the Allroad model as Allroad has the air suspension adjustment screen?? Any help gratefully received. Thanks
Steve Q Posted Sunday at 03:32 PM Posted Sunday at 03:32 PM I think the screens are the same, so as long as you get a screen with the same part number you should be fine.

Thanks Steve, good to know the screens are the same. Do you happen to know if the the letter at the end of the part number is relevant as I cannot see the part number until the old screen is out which is unfortunate as it seems quite a big job to remove it, find the exact part number, replace the old one (although not working) while I source a replacement. Once again any advice gratefully received!!
Steve Q Posted Sunday at 07:38 PM Posted Sunday at 07:38 PM In theory the letter denotes the version of that part. So in theory a would be the first and so on. This could a So very depending on the model the screen is intended for too potentially. Ideally you'll want the whole code before ordering anything.

Thanks for the advice Steve, much appreciated, looks like no option other than to get the unit out before sourcing 😞 .

Definitely the best option. As let's face it, the screens got to come out anyway.
