Hidden menu needs to be activated first with vcds .

I have tested my s8 on few ocasions with car handsfree and portable speaker and it does not. But i might be doing something wrong

Hi You have mmi2g . Some had bt module that alowes hands free bluetooth conection and some had integrated audi phone in the arm rest that only works with that audi phone . If you search for bluetooth devices with your iphone and cannot find audi hands free it means you dont have bt module

Controls should work as you controll ami , phone is just a sound source You can only have 1 device connected at the time so its either ami or hands free

Looks 3g low to me . Does the dvd have 2 sd card slots ?

Tune2air would be a good idea to add to stream music.

Ok so you have mmi 3g. Does the mmi button has a small joystic on top or not ?

What mmi have you got ? On your car should be 3g or 3ghh ?

Re 512gw . Nextbase relased a statment they are working on rear view cam that will be connected to the rcam plug in the unit . Its been over a year and nothing... next date we have its april 18. If they do i will be defo buying 512 it will be dual channal :)

When i did my cam i used the fues for heated windscreen washers as they go off with the ignition .

Check your air con settings mabey. On my a6 c6 i have middle vents blowing cold air when the temp is set for more then 20C . Its sort of an anty going a sleep idea .... i can adjust via mmi

None on the list. You need sline fog light with h7 bulb. H11 was on facelifted models

The colour of the light depends on kelvins . So 4200k is yellowish white 6000k is slightly blue , 8000k more blue and so on . Best cool look versus light output is around 5000k- 6000k imo. I have osram nightbrakers 6000k and they are ok. Had some 8000k before and the light output was poor .

Old trick :) Get some cardboard and place it under the car where the bottle is overnight. You will be able to check of its leaking if its wet in the morning

I presume you have mmi2g high based on the year of the car. Unfortunatly the sat nav is poor with postcodes. There is an soft update to 5577 but that does not help .

There is no aux on mmi2g high. 2g works on fiberoptics cables so options are limited - retrofit ami (oem) and buy tune2air - fit in dension500bt (aftermarket ) - fit vns media ami4 (aftermarket ) - fm bluetooth transmitter ( not the best quality ) Both dension and vsn fully integrates with all car controlls and they work by emulating a cd changer and offer usb aux and streaming . I have dension for over a year and no issues

I got osram nightbrakers d2s 6000k of ebay abd replaced myself . Your ones are d3s as ita facelifted

Dont buy on ebay ... you may save few pennies but could end up in but repair bill. Go to a gearbox specialist and let them source and tell you what they plan to use.
