I bought these from ebay, BEST £4 ive ever spend I belive these were standard on some avant cars...

Thanks guys. Like i said i have nothing to lose and its audis job to prove that this is not under warranty not mine :) And yes i will tide it up myself if need to but i was planning to use rubberised paint that is designed to protect wheel archers and undercarrages of cars

I have my a6 c6 for over 2 years and as im a big car person and i like to know how things work i have took half of the car apart and back :) . I decided to clean up the wheel archers so i took them out and found a rust... so i took all 4 out and im was supprised to find more . I mean its not a lot cosidering the car is from 2006 But i then looked it up online to see if this is quite common but didnt find anything usefull. On one of the serches i came across audi warraty page that states audi gives 12 years guarantie for rust penetration . Im booked for next week with them so wish me luck .i thought i have nothing to lose :) I will update the post once i have spoken to them Here is a pic from front driver side

Im not sure about the rest of the trim as it is in perfect condition. Plus it might be to distracting when driving to have a flashy dashboard . And to take it off is a bit of a pain. I like how it looks like its there from new and matches the colours What does everyone else think ? Btw i have ambient lighting pack and have done some mods. red led for footwells and installed brighter white led in the door trim strips but will do a sepererate post on that:) To top it up sline logo arrived in the post

If you create folders on your sd card mmi should recognise them and play only from selected folder

There should be a part number on the back of the wheel as well as on the hub caps. Mine are located on one of the spokes

Thanks Trevor . Its not so much as a guide but more of an idea if someone has similar challange ! I really enjoyed wrpaing lol requires a lot of patience A roll of wrap from ebay cost me £7(new cosole over a £100) and if i get borred i can always change it for a diffrent colour

I think you have mmi 3g basic. If you have ami installed ( plug should be in the glovebox or under armrest ) then its just a matter of buying ami bluetooth streaming dongle/adapter . If not then your options are 1. Retrofit ami (costly £400+) 2. Retrofit aftermarket device like dension 500s bt ( bit better £200+ ) 3. Bluetooth fm reciver ( cheap £10+ )

This is external temperature sensor. Nothing to worry about just needs to be cliped back on where it was

Your best option is to solder back the flat cable . If the is no other damage then it will work just fine . Take it to an electrician or hifi repair shop where they can do it . Replacing whole unit is expensive

i had this for over a year but i never had time to post . as my central console was scratched so i bought of ebay carbon 4d wrap. there are 1000s of patterns and colours . it took me 2h to do it with my wife's hairdrayer :). i must have watched 100s youtube videos how to wrap prior. for me it looks so good and a fraction of a price for a new console how to take the console apart :

Just finished instaling dension to my a6 c6 mmi2g. Great device that lets you play music from usb or aux. Install was fairly easy , youtube has plenty guides videos. It works by emulating cd changers but i still can use the original cd changer as well as usb . I just have to tide up all cables Got mine from ebay used for £140 with is much cheaper then original AMI Also dension does 500s bt that lets you stream music from mobiles

The low sound clatter is chain . The high ticking could be manifold gasket where air is leaking out . But like i said im not an expert. Get it checked by a garage

Here is mine much older 2006 . I got obsessed that mine chain is going but but as turns out it runs perfectly

Chain rattle in my opinion
