Hi everyone. My 1997 Audi A8 D2 has never been equipped with a phone. Recently I got an Audi phone and beautifully installed it in my car not being aware that the phone works with the Bluetooth MMI module of cars like 2006 A4,6,8, etc. However, I am still looking for some ways to make it work as a separate GSM phone as it has the SIM slot and logically can work independently. I installed a cradle with a charger. However, the phone when starting it is looking for the Bluetooth base station, fails to find and that is it. Other options of Bluetooth other devices and many telephone options are faded, although the faded options show SIM card and many other usual cellular phone option. Several times it found other Bluetooth devices in my car but could not connect. So, I am left with questions and need your help: 1. How is it possible to make the phone forget the base station on Bluetooth and connect to other devices? Ideal option. 2. If 1 is not possible, how to stop automatic start of Bluetooth search? Mediocre option 3. What additional device from Audi electronics do I need to get the phone work? Costly option.

So i've got a b7 with Audi Navigation Plus multimedia center or whatever the !Removed! hell its called lol but im wanting bluetooth as i use my phone is there any way to add bluetooth to the car without changing it out for Rns-e unit?

Hi Just bought an audi a5 2012 sports back. Phone connects for phone calls via Bluetooth... Great job. But I'm absolutely blown away that I can't get any music to play. For a brand like audi and the spec I got I'm actually blown away. It's a simple thing.. Even back in 2012. There's not even a aux port. Any advice? I have that odd connection in the glove box.

I am having playback issues with my android s10 and my Q7 mmi system. having bought the car in the last couple of weeks I have discovered that the Audi connect features are not all available on my 2106 model q7 so a lot of the functions on the 'my Audi' app are not active. whilst this is not a problem, I do use bluetooth heavily for calls and playing spotify. everything is connected as it should and despite working perfectly fine on the day I picked it up, it now stutters when playing media from spotify. sometimes the track will jump a second or so to catch up, but continues to jump around. not every time, but certainly enough to cause a nuisance. I've cleared the cache on the phone and deleted multiple times to no avail. has anyone had any experience with this type of problem before? voice calls are working as they should. -
Hi everyone. Just bought an A6 SE AVANT 2.0 Diesel. Lovely but ... I didn't try the bluetooth to my phone before I bought. I have samsung Galaxy S3 and have checked this is on the compatibility list but even when I have the "discoverable by all other devices" set on the phone, the MMI says "no phone available". :( Is there something else I have to turn on or do I have to pay Audi a fortune to have some simple software switch triggered or is my particular (8-button) MMI not properly compatible? All help welcomed. I am also posting separately regarding MMI ugrade (if I don't find the answer anyway).
