MMi not playing sound on iPhone 6 Bluetooth connection

HI, I don't know if this has been posted before as I am new to the forum. My Iphone 6 has stopped playing the sound on the mmi on my Audi A3 2015 model, I have tried reconnecting my phone but it remains the same. the phone still works ok and is connected and it shows that the track is playing but no sound. all the other sources work fine. Has anyone got any idea on how to get this working again?
