Ok. So audi recall was for airbag they also changed the inlet manifold and did a software update but as that was some months ago. They didn't say why and what it was for. Gonna try getting hold of a full vcds reader hoping that will have better chance in getting a code up than the garage.

Good. Now please mark the appropriate topic as solved, together with a brief explanation of what was needed. https://www.audiownersclub.com/forums/topic/29170-cruise-control-not-working/#comment-118040

Audi dealers are notoriously expensive when it comes to repairs. Have you tried a local garage/repair shop? I assume such places still exist in the USA.

Perhaps ask David Burch directly. https://www.allbiz.ch/dave-s-garage-041-670-33-18

It seems so Gareth, but you could send an email instead.

Welcome Connor. Most likely a sensor, but would need diagnostics to confirm, and if correct - indenting which one. Regards, Gareth.

What do I need when sourcing new headlight unit
Steve Q replied to Admprb's topic in Audi A3 (8V) Forum
You're best going off the part numbers -
The air suspension sensors can be recalibrated but I shouldn't think you'd need to do that with the work you've had done. https://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/966127-C7-S6-Level-Sensor-Calibration

Morning Steve Q, Thank you for your quick reply! Yes, but i can only find spoilers for coupes, or the big rear wing types, which i don't want. I have seen the spoiler i want described as a duckbill spoiler. I have found a provider of the one in the image, but the supplier is in the USA and the shipping and import tax make it very expensive!

Hi there After much procrastinating I have decided on a Q5 (was also considering a GLC or volvo XC60) and will likely be going for a 2021 model as my budget is circa £30k. I intend to go for approved used as I am rather risk adverse and value the reassurance it provides. I am having real difficulty deciding which model and of course each salesman has a different take depending on what they want to get rid of. I am female mid 50s and would say I am a boring driver. I value comfort. I cannot say image is not important as if that were the case I would be purchasing a skoda, but it is not uppermost and I think the sport and s-line are both fine looking cosmetically. The s-lines from what I can see are £2k ish more (all other things being equal). So I am really wanting to understand, other than cosmetics, is there anything about the s-line that makes it a better car to drive or one that has better longevity. I have test driven an s-line and a sport but at different dealerships i.e. not one directly after the other which makes it hard to compare. At the time I had not realised they had different suspensions so was not looking out for any difference in smoothness etc and certainly cannot remember any, although the seats felt more supportive in the s-line. Any views re the differences other than cosmetics would be greatly appreciated, or views from anyone who has either model in terms of how you have found comfort and drive. it is very difficult to form much of a view from a test drive.

Hi Rachel, touch wood it has not happened since I did this. Give it a go 😀

Not sure if YouTube link works above but this will help, it's literally under the glovebox behind the pollen filter towards left, like three screws and pull the connector and replace. I did that myself and just got the garage to program it like in the YouTube video.

Audi S5 (2017) - Which Shell oil to use?
Samurai_J4Y replied to westlondonsun's topic in Audi A5 Club
Hello, New around here, but I believe that the S5 uses VW 508.00 Spec oil. Although most oils will state VW 508.00 / VW 509.00 spec. Any oil with this spec should be fine for the S5 (B9). -
Hello. Just seen your post. I have had some luck with this website: https://www.catcar.info/audivw/?lang=en&l=c3RzPT17IjEwIjoiQnJhbmQiLCIyMCI6IkFVREkifXx8c3Q9PTIwfHxicmFuZD09YXV8fG1hcmtldD09UkRXfHxtZGw9PUE4MFEgfHxFcGlzPT03NHx8RWluc2F0ej09MTk5MXx8TWFpbkdyb3VwPT00fHxCaWxkdGFmZWw9PTM5OTMwfHxHcmFmaWs9PTAzOTkzMDE0MQ%3D%3D I used it before for 2004 TT parts and have used it recently for 1988 Coupe GT parts ref. Hope this helps.
