Yes I have had a look here and on other places to could not find anything I think it something to do with the blend door vent thing as on drive side you can feel the air con slightly but passenger side just stay on what ever the temp is set to with no air con

Not that you can do anything about it with your current wheels, but large wheels = skinny profile tyres = horrible ride quality = harsh stresses on sidewalls, which usually results in a necessity to have XL tyres, which just compounds the ill effects of above!

Help: Audi A6 (C8) 2019 PPI and service record advise
Magnet replied to Arsenal2006's topic in Audi A6 (C8) Forum
Who are you buying it from Riyss? Whoever it is, they are trying to sell you a vehicle which is legally unroadworthy. Surely this is sufficient causation for you to have your deposit refunded -?- 8 replies

Thank you Richard. I very much did have DAB for three years then it just dropped off suddenly in March or April. All of my saved DAB Radio stations still exists in my 'Memory'. The coincidence of me losing my DAB when everyone else did is too great to ignore, but perhaps it IS the DAB antenna ???? So that may be Audi Barnstaple and a large bill then ! Your help is much appreciated, thank you.

Hi I’ve got the exact Same fault on my A4, did you find a fix?
-
You're welcome, doesn't sound like the battery is at fault. Could it be an issue with the instrument cluster?
-
This article might help: Either way check near the manifold, cat, or other places along the exhaust or even dpf.
-
You're welcome. If it is the ballast then this can be changed but might need to be coded in.

You don’t need a tester to inspect the condition of the cables within the flexible harness section Kieran.

Hello Colin, Much has already been said on here about VAG’s current recommendation of not renewing belts until c140K miles, with no age limit. You will see from a search that the forum generally does not hold with that schedule, and suggests sticking with their previous recommendation of change at c75K miles, or 5 years - whichever comes first. The logic will be outlined in the searched threads, but basically boils down to VAG are not in the business to sell dealer time in changing cam belts - but selling new vehicles. If a vehicle’s engine expires due to belt breakage, then they have an opportunity to sell a new vehicle. Worth a search and a read Colin. Please let us know what you decide to do. Regards, Gareth.

Any smell in the car I’d be looking at ant-bacterial treatment on air conditioning. You can get similar smell from screen wash reservoir if not using correct additive. If it’s from the car under load, next thing to check would be catalytic converters.

Full battery won't start. A6 c6 f4 allroad 3lt
cliffcoggin replied to grim's topic in Audi A6 (C6) Forum
Only it it is any good, and you won't know that unless you get it tested, in which case you might as well get the fitted battery tested. Let me emphasise that simple voltage readings from a multimeter will not tell you if the battery is in good condition. A battery can show over 12 volts and yet have internal faults that can interfere with the delicate electronics of the car causing a variety of seemingly unrelated symptoms, one of those symptoms being a lack of error codes on low quality OBD readers. Until you get the battery tested we can not eliminate it as the cause of the starting problem. -
Hello thanks for the advice the ccm ending in a K is only up to 2002 the saloon I have is a 2001 I have found a ccm online identical part numbers so I must get that ordered and now I must try and salvage a few of my connectors instead of having to rewire in all new ones I was thinking of trying to split the case of my own ccm and salvage it but when I got to the inside I can firmly say it is long gone unfortunately hahaha
