    Somewhat evasive response!     Sorry and thanks for the reply, to be honest, I, and most importantly my Mrs, haven't noticed any significant difference in the cars ride quality and comfort. If any of us had i would have changed the wheels back straight away. I couldn't find any definitive info either way anywhere so I'm drawing to the conclusion that it's just mileage related wear and tear. The ride quality is superb on the the 20's compared to my 16 plate DS 4 on 18's. Go figure that one!🤣🤣🤣

    Thank you for responding. That's a good point, maybe it's just me. It's not the roaring of the engine but can you perhaps hear something in the background, like a whirring that peaks around 0:23 and then continues steadily. I can hear it closer and louder than the engine noise. Also it doesn't seem to change as I move the steering wheel around.

    Evidently it was a data socket she plugged into, which is what one would expect on modern cars in order to connect the infotainment system to a phone. Better to use a non data socket next time, or find a way in the menu to disable data transfer at the front socket, though would defeat the purpose of buying such a sophisticated system.

    A loose motor earth could easily explain the poor starting, but not the power drain. The 1.6 mA drain you reported is not believable. A car in good order and locked loses a few dozen milliamps normally, some 30 times your reading.

    Would raising the engine off its mounts give you enough clearance? It is what I would have done 40 years ago, but I do not know it if it is practical on your car.

    Chances are the headlight is made by Hella. The original OE Audi version will be double that. Even if you're going after-market, then I'd opt for Hella. No point having adaptive headlights if they don't work.

    Hi All does anyone have a cross section of the inner door rubber seal (weatherstrip) mine is pretty worn out but looking at prices online for a new one (around £100) I’m looking for alternatives has anyone used anything aftermarket with any success? Many thanks in advance

    Different coil packs could imply the previous owner has been trying to fix this issue for a while. Make sure the guy deleting any codes saves notes them down first. Please keep us posted on how you get on
