  1. Past hour
  2. To be fair I think that's not too bad for a price. Does include brake fluid changes and AC cleans etc? Don't forget you could be due a cambelt change soon if it's not been done already.
  3. That's a good point, it could be.
  4. Oops! Wrong tree barked up. Fair point made re you are happy to put your trust in them, and that’s all that matters. Just as a matter of interest, is your vehicle still running on its 8 year old air filter? Audi were only changing it when it reached 45K.
  5. Today
  6. @Magnet No Gareth. £695.00 for the two years cover - paid upfront OR a 24 monthly payments. No interest. You've added the upfront payment to the 24x monthly ones and so paying twice for everything! 🙂 Give me credit Gareth! My fairly 'local' garage that i know, deal mainly with 4x4s. They'd be wanting in excess of £695 to match the equivalent of what the Audi garage will do and give. The £695 also includes 2 MOTs I’m happy to put my trust in a garage with qualified Audi engineers.
  7. Hello Edi, How old is the battery? Have you had it checked under load conditions? When you say you have tried a new battery, was that a ‘new, new’ battery, or a used one, and what battery is currently fitted? Have you checked the engine earths? Regards, Gareth.
  8. Comes under the polite heading of ‘Oh blinking heck’ - if I’m following the correct logic. For 1 oil and filter change, 1 oil and pollen filter, and two MOTs, Audi are extracting almost £1,400 from your wallet over 2 years ( with £695 taken in advance). For that privilege they won’t even change your air filter without charging you extra! Personally, I would need gas and air, but perhaps I’ve got a very distorted comparison of getting the same work done on this 8 year old vehicle at a trusted local garage. It would be interesting to hear what others think of this -? Regards, Gareth.
  9. The problem could be the ignition switch or the key?
  10. Ideally need it sorting ASAP, definitely can't wait 4 months for a response. The water could get into the wiring loom etc and render the car worthless. Thanks
  11. @Steve Q will do. Asked for a call tomorrow morning stating my worry about ABS. Thankfully I’ve not long to wait for the diagnosis / Tuesday.
  12. Sounds like it's that then.
  13. Keep us posted on how you get on. Definitely don't drive it unless you really have to as long term it can damage the abs pump/module which is a big bill.
  14. Hi will do it’s dry around tunnel/centre counsel screen wash is going down without using it filled it 3 times today and every time it’s been below the plastic cup strainer
  15. Glad you've got sorted 🙂 maybe the MMI needs an update?
  16. Thanks
  17. Definitely worth contacting the motoring ombudsman, but it'll be a 4 month wait to get a case assigned.
  18. If it gives you peace of mind for 2 years, then that’s all that matters. Expensive for what it is, but that’s how these things work.
  19. Keep us posted on how you get on. Let's hope it is what you think and not a heater matrix. Is it losing coolant?
  20. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Looks lovely 🙂
  21. So could be the key then. Have you got a spare?
  22. Colin. I have merged your two topics. It keeps things tidy.
  23. @Magnet All monthly plans are on the Audi site. https://customer.vwfs.co.uk/service-plans/audi.html?traci_c=UK|SI|GA|S|AUDI:DM-P:&traci_s=SI:AUDI:SEA:Google:SearchAd:2023-01:&traci_ee=19596460443:146596466618:645967750295::::&traci_t=audi service plan:e::&s_kwcid=AL!10901!3!645967750295!e!!g!!audi service plan&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=19596460443&gbraid=0AAAAAoaLYNOzJR_hMM5mpP3XlWvNIY98q&gclid=Cj0KCQjwvajDBhCNARIsAEE29WruACJdkBiN3UYtDG8ztpgHN4AN-1WdhB2fjwLrz1bSsB3byTcHGkwaAvtIEALw_wcB
  24. think i have found out where my water ingress is coming from its washer fluid topped up 3 times today and dropped below the plastic strainer cup does the pipe run down the drivers side
  25. Thanks Gareth, I had the connector under the driver's see replaced just last year. That's why I thought I might have caused it disconnecting and reconnecting the door motor. Will try the spray as you suggest. Will also ask the local garage to run a fault diagnostic.
  26. Thanks Pauline, For the benefit of others, could I ask how much a month this plan works out at?
  27. Sorry to hear that Reg, Re. air bag light- get yourself an aerosol of contact cleaner, move the seat back as far as possible and squirt the contact cleaner on all the electrical plugs you can find under there. Do not ( in biggest caps!) disconnect anything - simply spray and wiggle the plugs. Hood warning light? Not sure about that, but could well be to do with something you have disturbed within the door/ flexible harness. Regards, Gareth. Reset? would have thought the car was to early for that.
