  1. Past hour
  2. Good to hear! :)
  3. It’s ok bro I’ve changed it now and the brakes are working fine now no issues since
  4. Ignore the message that says it's 'OK to drive'!!!!! The message is incorrect!!! DO NOT DRIVE ANY FURTHER (try not to brake too hard and park up as as soon as possible where safe to do so). Buy the required sensor and replace it asap.
  5. Today
  6. There were no warning lights it was a message on the dash saying Brake servo but it is ok to drive but contact dealer.
  7. Thanks, I'll have a look through.
  8. Thank you. Man at the garage says he’d tested the battery when he read codes, also looks relatively new. I should definitely check those next, thank you.
  9. I agree, it could be a dodgy sensor. If you do get the red warning light, the ABS unit will be bricked!!! It will cost thousands of £'s to replace! HOWEVER, the good news is that there are companies that can rese tthe unit at a fraction of the cost (still hundreds of £'s and you need a mechanic to remove the part so you can send it off). Please see one of my posts earlier in the thread for one such company that offers this service (I have no affiliation)
  10. @Jotenhiem when you have the errors on the dash, are they the yellow warning messages, or have you ever seen the red one? If you’ve seen the red one, then you’re probably past the point where replacing the sensor won’t solve the issue I’m afraid. I let mine get to red warning and only then the brakes started juddering, so it sounds like the abs unit may have failed already, based on my experience If you haven’t seen any red warnings, then I wonder if the new part you’ve got is defective? You could try buying a couple from eBay or somewhere else and see if that solves the issue? If you haven’t seen the red, still do not drive it until replacing the sensor again. Good luck 🤞
  11. Hi unsure if people still reply on this but I have the same issue and it's come up with 3 fault codes , I've read the throttle sensor can make the car go in limp mode .
  12. That must be about the only electrical problem I haven't had on mine yet Steve!
  13. That's a good point Dave.
  14. My bet would be on a faulty hazard switch. Id recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. This is quite common on the C5 Dave, and it's most often caused by the hazard switch failing as I had similar problems with my C5.
  15. If I didn't know better I would've put money on you driving a Peugeot with those symptoms mate, never come across it on an Audi yet. With the Peugeots it's a worn part at the base of the indicator stalk in the com unit, I don't know if/ the Audi units suffer with the same sort of issue.

  17. 2007 A6 C6 Avant Allroad When I indicate Left all is well. When I indicate Right: The Right Indicator and warning light flash, then the Left Indicator and warning light flash And so on, back and forth. Must be very confusing for the guy behind! Sometimes the Right indicator stops, unless I hold the stalk over. Any suggestions please?
  18. Ah, an R8, I can only dream! Lovely car mate, and welcome to the group. And I'd love to see some pictures of your car if you get chance to post some.
  19. I had a loose wheel speed sensor that was throwing up similar problems with warning lights, might be worth checking mate.
  20. I also bought mine from a main dealer, as I wasn't sure if I could trust a chinese copy (can save save £80 if it works, but could potentially lose £3k+ if it failed). By the sounds of most people's experiences, the generic parts seem to be ok
  21. Bought mine from main dealer after reading some people having issues with generic parts. Was expensive (100 plus) but worked first time. Did run vcds and erased any errors, so don't know if thats the reason it's been ok from then on.
  22. You'll need a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. It's probably the roof clamps that has failed. Problem if you can't get into the boot as you could manually control the boot from there.
  23. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂
  24. I know how this feels. Still need an engine for my A6. All the second hand ones don't come with service history or unconfirmed mileage etc.
  25. Get the part number and buy a second hand headlight to see if that cures the problem.
  26. I got mine from Amazon 20£
  27. @Jotenhiem Was it an Audi part or from autofactors? I got this one from auto doc so maybe the issue lies there.
