  1. Past hour
  2. What have you done so far? What engine is it?
  3. Sounds like you're getting there 🙂 keep us posted if the key reprogramming fixes the issue.
  4. Today
  5. Evidently Michael is not going to update this topic so I shall stop watching it.
  6. Will Definitely need to Drop the bumper corner which is not to hard a job, I would source a 2nd hand light as while getting the headlamp Lense of is physically possible it is almost impossible
  7. Hello I ordered a ccm with identical part number from Germany took a while to come when I was buying it I asked the seller to cut the connectors off and give me a bit of wire to also work with when rewiring cut off my main black block connector and got my new connector and soldered it in I plugged in my new ccm and everything is working windows and also interior lights the doors aren’t locking I’m thinking due to the keys not being programmed will do that during the week with a vcds. Only main thing left to really do is fix my boosting issue I found the problem with the vacuum pipe which goes onto the nipple on the side of the tandem pump may try and use chemichal metal to reinforce the nipple and prevent the leak first before possibly replacing the pump .
  8. It’s a while since it was recharged, I’ll get that checked as well, thanks again for all your advice, it’s most appreciated.
  9. S3 Buying Advice Hey! Just sold my TT and now looking to replace it with a S3. I have some questions though that I can't seem to find answers to: Does anyone have a PDF brochure or spreadsheet for the 2020-2024 model? I keep seeing 'comfort and sound package' or 'technology package' in adverts but struggling to figure out what each actually add. Subscription Cost for the adaptive cruise. The car I tested had it but it was not active. The dealer couldn't give me a price. I would purchase the lifetime option. Screen sizes: Does anyone know the difference between the two instrument display sizes? Is it literally just the size or is there added functionality? Thank you!
  10. When was the last time you got it recharged, you might be right on the limit of ac pressure sensor shutting down the system, remember the system turns from liquid into Gas and back again so a change in pressure is inevitable
  11. The clutch’s are pretty reliable
  12. Hi, thanks for your advice, I don’t think it’s the clutch, I’m going to get the solenoid checked out, I’ll post and let you know the results.
  13. Cheers. Thanks for letting us know
  14. Hey bro, I already solved, I changed the computer which controls the gear box, that’s the recommendation provided by workshop (after diagnosing ), you can go to workshop first to check it out

  16. Hello, How did you go with this issue? I am having pretty much the same problem at the moment Thanks
  17. I’ve got my Audi a3 (8v) that’s currently stage 1 which I want to go to stage 2. Anyone has any advice as to what to add , thanks
  18. With the aircon turned on the aircon pulley has a centre section of the pulley that is controlled by a electronic clutch, it will operate for 20-30 seconds then disengage for 20-30 seconds, you will here a click when the clutch kicks in
  19. Thanks for the report Alex. I have marked it as a solution for future reference.
  20. How have you fixed this. you could swop ballast and bulb from side to side and see if the fault moves with them or remains in the same headlamp. If the fault remains in the same headlamp then it narrows it down either a wiring fault inside the headlight which could be checked easily, failing that it could be a signal fault from the cars module to the headlamp which would require tracing wires from plug to module
  21. This is a example of what I mean
  22. If you have the plastic tube in the back of the foam then it must be kept as it’s for the active bonnet. The foam is also there to protect pedestrians from the crash bar as part of the active bonnet system. Some older Audi’s had a thin textured plastic cover that covered the foam behind the grille so this might be a good option
  23. I cans access your files but The evaporator is the main ac component behind the dash and changes fluid into gas to generate the chilling effect and is usualy silent, I have came across noisy heater boxes when ac in engaged but nothing to load. Too much gas in the system can cause a grinding noise from the ac pump at higher revs but this would be very noticeable
  24. You need a good auto electrician for this not a workshop, from your description I would think your steering lock module is not powering up on request and this module is part of the security handshake required to enable engine crank,
  25. Hi thanks for your reply, I will google how to replace the solenoid and check if the clutch is engaging.
  26. When your aircon is on and blowing warm check the pulley to see if the clutch is engaging, other common culprit could be a tired solenoid on the pump, these can be replaced separately on many models
  27. When I suggested to Audi they have a ‘ battery not charging ‘ light they told me this was no longer an EU build spec requirement. With so many systems requiring power you would think such a light should be even more important , but the Brussels mandarins who all go to work on a bike do not think so?
