Audi A3 Servicing

Featured Replies

Hi, just after some advice.

I have an audi A3 which is on a contract lease through audi finance, which requires 2 year service and oil change.

In audi finance t and c's it states that approved audi centre must be used for all repairs and maintenance.

The local audi centre have quoted me £416.24, for its first service and oil change.

I have spoken with 3 independent garages who use official audi parts and are VAT registered, and not one quote has been above £200.

Am I limited to using the audi centre?

i would say yes it has to be Audi that do the service or repairs because they will want full service history when they come to sell the car on later as an Audi approved car i may be wrong

£416.24 is a little steep - do you have options to shop around other Audi franchises?

20K service on my A6 was just over £300 at Swindon Audi- time to shop around... might be worth going a little bit further for a cheaper deal...

This might help-:

Thanks for the replies! I thought it £416 was steep for what should only be and oil and filter change.

I will enquire about the price match guarantee, it seems to good to be true.

You may be tied up with the T&Cs of the finance but the Franchised dealers should be competitive. Note things like their AdBlu @ OMG/ litre stack the cost up. Around Hull you have a few Audi Centres - they cant all be part of the same Franchise Groups
