Rear Brakes Error Code Help Please

I have a 2004 Audi A8 D3 4.0 TDI

I have the follow VCDS fault codes for my rear brakes.
2 Faults Found:
02596 - Rear Brake Pads Worn
008 - Implausible Signal
Freeze Frame:
Fault Status: 01110000
Fault Priority: 6
Fault Frequency: 1
Reset counter: 24
Mileage: 214256 km
Time Indication: 0

The rear pads are fine and have plenty left so Im not sure why Im getting that particular error.

The mileage is wrong on both the codes so not sure why.

Any help much appreciated.

It could be that the sensors are corroded or wires broke .

My coolant expansion bottle keeps emptying after about 6/7 miles, I suspected a leaky bottle cos I'd had that problem before but I changed it and it's still happening. Now I'm looking at the oil and it's not good, can someone confirm head gasket failure? Or another explanation for what's happening? Cheers Duane

I've been seeing more and more posts across FB and multiple forums about people having the alternator failure related to the 48v mild hybrid system and wanted to see if anyone has had this issue and how their experience has been. I know in USA they have announced a TSB with an extended warranty for 7 years but I am trying to get more info from Audi UK but not getting anywhere. Hello All - My battery has died and I'm all set to replace it myself. We jumpstarted the car last week and despite it initially sending me a lot of mad messages about nothing working, once I got it going and drove a mile, it was all fine. 2 days later, battery flat again. Hi. I drive an S3 2021 Hatch Sportback. My car came from new with Rear parking sensors that Beep - But no Front Parking Sensors. I have been looking around for someone to fit Front parking sensors and a Rear Reversing Camera to my S3. Hey guys im from new zealand, i got a a3 8p with a vr6, it has 45xxxkms. it has front right damgage and the door was hit in the crash, Im trying to replace the front right upper door hinge but its impossible to access the inside bolt to remove it from the body. IMG_2335.MOV Hi there, My A1 1.6 TDI Sport 2017 makes this high pitched noise which sounds like it’s coming from the right rear side. It more tends to happen when the weather is cold. It starts when the car has been going for a couple miles and stops as soon as you turn the engine off. I have attached a video of the noise. Does anyone know what this could be? Thanks IMG_2335.MOV

Wondering if anyone could help, my all road A6 C5 , when I drive it and rex past 2000rpm the abs light comes on with the esp and suspension level control light, if I turn car off and restart the light go out, if I keep under 2000 rpm no lifts come on, I have logged with vcds, and only fault is brake pressure implausible, when I do live reading it fluctuates between 0 to 33, when I put foot on brake the pressure goes up as it should, I have changed the abs unit and brake light switch. Hi everyone, I have a 1994 2.8E Audi 100 Quattro saloon with ~130k miles on the clock. It's developed a problem with the engine cutting out if driven above ~65mph on days warmer than 27 Celsius. Neither the garage or main dealer have been able to find any fault. One mechanic speculated that the fuel pump might be at fault, but the problem has persisted after replacing it. Has anyone experienced this with a similar model? Thanks! Tom

Hi all, I have a 2020 A3 tfsi e and when I charge the car overnight I try to make sure all the timers are off so the car charges immediately. Hi there - i checked through all the pages related to A5 but didn't see anything on this topic on issues with the one-touch open/close function. I have an Audi A5 Cab B9/F5 40 TFSI S line (pre-facelift) and on the cabriolets, you have 4 switches, one for each window, plus a 5th master which does all the windows at the same time.
