Help! A4 2.0 tdi 170 S line

Featured Replies

Hi. Newbie here, first post.
Bought my car just under a week ago, 2010 a4 2.0 tdi 170 S line. It’s very juddery, this can be at low speed and idle and really quite bad at 70mph.
Took it to a garage and it had a code saying something with the inlet manifold and actuator.
Been quoted £330 for it all to be replaced.
Is this a common problem, could something just need cleaning.
Cheers Andrew

did you get it car sales or private sale?

It was car sales, 110 miles from where I live.

Ive got a years warranty on it, the garage Ive taken it too are calling the warranty company tomorrow to see if it’s covered.

Warranty is with warranty wise.

If me i would let the dealer know the issues and either arrange with them to collect the car cos of distance and fix it or for them to agree for a local garage to fix the issue and bill the dealer
