xenon headlight drivers side not working

Featured Replies

Hi I,m new to the forum having just bought a 2008 AUDI. lovely car but the right side xenon low beam headlight not working, I,ve changed the bulbs on both sides now, and tested the ballast ignitor on the other side. all ok, so I guess I,m down to either the relay or the ballast itself. I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this problem and what the solution was? Also I don,t think there,s a separate fuse just for the one headlight but am I correct there?

Blast would be my guess. I think if it was relay both xenons wont work

Did you try to swap blast to the side that works and see if it will lit up ?

Hi thanks for replying. yes I swapped the ballast ignitors, but not the ballasts themselves as they seem really hard to get to. I thought that might be it now so will buy a new ballast and try to fit.
