OBD stuff?

Featured Replies

Hi all

I brought a 2008 A6 S-Line 3.0l last weekend and absolutely love it!

Having come from a long line of Fords with easy access to the OBD info, cheap ELM 327 and free software on my mobile, I have been able to solve many problems that have arisen on these cars, but i'm lead to believe this is not the case with an Audi?

What do I need to be able to configure the cars systems outside of the MMi and read/reset fault codes?

I have found a few cables ranging widely in price and various software packages, so any help would be much appreciated,  Thanks, Peter
