2007 S-Line seats into 2005 SE

Featured Replies

Hi all

New to the forum as recently purchased a 2005 A3 2.0 FSI for my wife. Got it for a song as their dog had wrecked the interior so I am replacing it. I have heated leather S-Line seats from a 2007 model that are now fitted. I'm happy for the heated elements/wiring to simply be tucked away and not function for now.

The other cables – I'm assuming airbag and passenger detection – all fit fine with the exception, oddly, of the passenger seat. The airbag connector is fine but there's another one that I can't marry up either by using the loom from the old seats or by wire colours.

Can anyone shed some light and help me get this one connected?!

(Did search the forum but couldn't find a post with the information I needed. Sorry if I've missed it though.)

I guess not 😂If anyone could point me in the direction of someone or a forum that may be able to help, that would also be greatly appreciated!

HI,

did you managed to solve this issue?

Im currently facing to the same problem. From my point of view I will contact auto-electric-specialist. But anyway I would like to know if you managed it on your own.

Thank you
