AMI Port?

Featured Replies

Hi all!

I’ve just bought a 2013 A4 S Line and I’m desperately trying to find a the AMI port but I’m struggling! It’s not in the glove box or under the arm rest. Any help would be greatly appreciated! 😊

Thanks!

I've just got a 14 plate A4 TDI se Technic. If the AMI port is for plugging music players or memory sticks into, it's in the glove box. My car had 3 short cables loose in the glove box, an iPhone type plug on one, a female USB plug on another, don't remember what the third one is. All had a long slim connector on the other end, this is inline with the cable. The AMI connector is about an inch long by possibly quarter inch wide and is in the left corner where the side meets the top. The cable is just the right length for whatever is plugged into it to rest in that little molded in pocket in the glovebox door.

Pic 1 is the plug to go into the port.

Pic 2 is supposed to show where the port is located.
