DG76
Hi, i just bought an audi a3 2.0 tdi sport (2015). It came with s line side badges, my question is, is this standard to a sport model or have these been added by a previous owner? I have actually de badged the car (rear and side) as i preffer the look and the s-line badges had lost thier colour. However, i was going to replace the s line badges but am now thinking if its not an s line, why were the badges there? I dont want to label my car as something it isnt. Steve Q
The sport was never fitted with s-line badges so I wouldn't be surprised if a previous owner has added them. Cheers Steve
DG76
Thanks for your reply Steve, i thought as much. seems a strange thing to do, i wont be replaceing them! The car is completley de badged now.
Steve Q
You'd be surprised how often it's done. Mainly on BMWs with M badges or mercs with amg badges. Don't see it as much on Audis though
